3 WELCOME TO OUR 2019 BROCHURE Welcome one and all to our latest brochure celebrating our 9th year of events and tours For anyone that s new to us and what we do, our tours are for all cars regardless of age, value or specification. Over the past year we ve had cars as old as 90 (a 1928 WO Bentley which travelled with us to the Monaco Historic and onto the Mille Miglia Tour in Italy) and cars that didn t even exist at the start of the year (a brand new Aston Martin DB11 which was collected from the dealership just 1 day prior to the tour taking place!) Of course, the cars are important but it s creating the adventures, experiences and life lasting memories that really make our tours so special. In touring terms alone, 2018 saw us drive tens of thousands of miles through 11 countries touring with over 400 old and new customers in well over 250 cars. And of course, on top of the usual calendar of events, we had our two big bi-annual events - Monaco Historic and Le Mans Classic. As many of our loyal customers will know, 2018 was always going to prove to be a challenging year. As a company in the last 12 months alone, we have transitioned from old management to new, relocated our operations office from Surrey to Warwickshire and even formed a new subsidiary company (see page 38) whilst negotiating some very exciting new commercial collaborations and car club contracts. We think it s fair to say, it s been a pretty busy year...but we re certainly not complaining! 2018 has proved to be our most successful year as a company to date and that is mostly thanks to the loyal customer base that we re so lucky to have. The support, compliments and loyal custom that we receive from you, our customers and clients, really does enable us to claim that we surely have one of the best jobs in the world. We ve planned our 2019 calendar and brochure with the aim to include something for everyone. You will see that it includes some firm favourites such as The Spa Classic Tour, The Mille Miglia Driving Tour and The Angoulême Circuit des Remparts Tour as well as featuring some new items such as The Nürburgring Nordschleife Tour in September. You will also see towards the back of the brochure that we re now taking bookings for the Monaco Historic in May 2020 following a large allocation of rooms and hospitality at two of the finest hotels in Monte Carlo as well as hospitality at the Café de Paris overlooking Casino Square. You ll also find a few tasters of what to expect in the next couple of years. 5 ICE DRIVING SWEDEN - February 2019 A four-day package including flights, transfers, accommodation, meals and two full days of ice driving on frozen lakes in a collection of cars We have been visiting the same lake for the last six winters, so we know all the elements required to make your trip a very memorable one. Upon arrival in the morning at Oslo Gardermoen, you will be met by our Classic GT Tour Managers who will look after you throughout the trip. At the lake, you will be given the keys to show off your skills before perfecting your technique via the complimentary tuition on both days on the ice. You will enjoy driving FWD, RWD and 4WD cars and whilst we want you to have a lot of fun we also want you to learn how to drive quickly in these tricky conditions. The lake is made up of four different circuits, a training slalom, doughnut and 2 large rally circuits. You will have the chance to see the stunning natural wildlife as well as try the famous Mooseburger or steak at the fabulous Longhorn restaurant. Please note, if you would prefer to fly from alternative airports please let us know and we would be pleased to arrange it for you. The 2019 Ice Driving Experience dates are: Expedition 1 Friday 1st February - Monday 4th February Expedition 2 Monday 4th February - Thursday 7th February Expedition 3 Friday 8th February - Monday 11th February THE ITINERARY Day 1 - Your expedition begins as you board your morning flight from Gatwick to Oslo Gardermoen Airport. Upon arrival in Oslo, you will be greeted by our Classic GT Tour Managers who will be on hand to assist throughout the trip. You will be driven in comfort to the hotel in Trysil, our base for the next three nights. This evening s dinner will be at the Kjølen hotel where your Tour Managers will brief you on what to expect over the next two days on the lake. Day 2 - After breakfast, the Classic GT minibuses will be ready to take you to the lake for your first full day s driving on ice! Upon arrival, you will have a short session on driving techniques before your first laps on the stunning frozen lake. We will be driving all day with a stop for lunch. To round-off the day, you will compete in the Classic GT Ice Driving Cup in fully ice prepared go-karts with studded tyres. After a fantastic first day on the lake, we head back to the hotel with time to change before boarding the minibuses again for dinner. Our destination is the fabulous Longhorn restaurant around 25 minutes away where you have a choice of Moose and Bear burgers! ALTERNATIVE AIRPORTS Flights from Manchester or alternative regional airports can be arranged for you as part of the package. All flights are subject to availability and prices may differ from our advertised rate based on flights from London Gatwick. Day 3 - Once again, after breakfast, we will depart for the lake for our second full day of ice driving. Today we have arranged for you to get behind the wheel of a fully prepared rally car. You will have a sighting lap with an instructor before being let loose on the large outer circuit. In the afternoon we arrange some timed laps for you to compete in against your co-driver. At the end of the day, there will be a prize giving with prizes not just for the fastest times, before we head back to the hotel for our finale dinner. Day 4 - After a final breakfast, The Classic GT minibuses will be warm and ready to take you on one last scenic drive from Trysil to Oslo Gardermoen in time to catch your early afternoon flight back to the UK. Your Tour Managers will be with you right up to the point of checking in to ensure everything runs smoothly before your flight. 5

7 THE WONDERFUL WALES TOUR - 23rd to 26th of April 2019 This short tour includes some of the most scenic driving the UK has to offer and promises to be an unforgettable few days with our friends at Grand Touring This is the first in a new line of collaborative road trips with Steve and Loz from Grand Touring. They will be your experienced tour representatives and they like to do things slightly differently to other trips you may have attended. There are very limited places on these trips (up to 10 cars) and rather than individuals making their own way using route maps, we aim to make progress as one convoy using powerful two-way radios to aid communication. These tours are designed for younger cars to enable an increased daily mileage of around 200 miles each day meaning we can pack more fantastic roads into your tour. Travelling together creates a great atmosphere as you forge new friendships with like minded enthusiasts. Loz will usually be found at the head of the convoy tasked with identifying any road hazards and to help navigate the group whilst Steve circulates nearer to the rear of the line up to ensure that no-one makes a wrong turn. The convoy will travel at a sensible speed, but you are free to make quicker or slower progress on your own if you prefer. We include a professional photographer on these tours who can be found riding shotgun with us to ensure you have a photographic record of the trip: the cars, the scenery and the people. The photographer has been known to bring his drone with him which often results in some spectacular footage! Other highlights of the day include the Llanberis Pass featuring spectacular roads within an area of rugged natural beauty scarred with numerous slate mines. From there we journey over to a mythical trio of roads used as a car testing ground for EVO magazine the EVO triangle. The route is an excellent test of both car and driver and has become popular among driving enthusiasts. The day ends at a secluded hotel overlooking a large and spectacular lake. But if you don t fancy swimming in the lake, there is a spa and gym in the hotel to help you relax. An evening meal with wine is again provided to help you wind down after the day s activities. Friday 26th April Lake Vyrnwy to Wrexham 50 Miles Once the final breakfast has been enjoyed, we check out of the hotel and commence the day with some drone filming (subject to the weather) as we undertake a loop of Lake Vyrnwy before we complete our bucket list of roads in Wales. The route will include the now de-rigueur stunning scenery, cloud-grazing mountains and awe-inspiring lakes. Early on we drive through Hellfire Pass where prototype cars were tested many moons ago by both Austin and Triumph. Towards the end of the morning, we stop at the final destination of the tour for a farewell lunch where you can make plans for your next Grand Tour and say goodbye to your fellow petrolheads! Typically, we leave the hotel about 09:30hrs and check-in to the next hotel at around17:30hrs. Between these times, expect spectacular scenery, banter on the radios, coffee stops, lunch breaks, adrenalin and laughter! If this sounds like your thing, please ensure you book up quickly as places on these new trips are very limited. THE INTINERARY Tuesday 23rd April Llandrindod Wells (optional extra night) Check in to your hotel at your leisure. Relax in the spa, go for a dip in the pool or catch up with Steve and Loz in the bar. Whatever you do tonight, make sure you get a good night s sleep so you are refreshed for the adventure ahead! An evening meal with wine is included with this option. Wednesday 24th April Round Trip to the Black Mountains 200 Miles No need to check out as we shall be returning here tonight. After a hearty breakfast, today is mainly about the Brecon Beacons as we drive past the old red sandstone peaks in the National Park. En route we pass the highest mountain in South Wales, Pen y Fan, as well as taking in the highest road in Wales, Gospel Pass, which snakes over the Black Mountains up to 1801 feet high. We will see crystal blue lakes, quaint cottages with Welsh slate roofs, numerous waterfalls and heather clad mountains as well as visiting breath-taking valleys, twisty roads and panoramic vistas before returning to our hotel. An evening meal with wine is provided tonight. Thursday 25th April Llandrindod Wells to Lake Vyrnwy 200 Miles Remember to check out of the hotel this time! After breakfast, we head north covering some of the best roads in the whole of Wales. The photographer will certainly be getting excited by the views as we pass through the Coed-y-Brenin Forest Park and into the breath-taking Snowdonia National Park. We have a great lunch stop planned at a lovely castle, Castell Deudraeth, which is part of the Italian architecture-inspired village of Portmeirion where the 1960s cult TV series The Prisoner was filmed which features a Lotus 7. 9 HOTEL DE FRANCE TOUR - 29th April to 2nd of May 2019 A four-day long weekend escorted driving tour to the stunning Loir Valley including ferry crossings, accommodation, evening meals and track time at both Lohéac and the Le Mans Bugatti circuit We are very pleased to offer you the Le Mans and L Hotel de France experience, to combine the thrill of circuit driving with motor racing history, French wine, local food specialities and drives through stunning scenery. You will enjoy the luxurious comfort of the Hotel de France, perhaps the most famous motoring hotel in France. THE ITINERARY Monday 29th April Portsmouth to St Malo Overnight Crossing We will meet at Portsmouth docks to catch the 20:30hrs overnight sailing to St Malo. Your Tour Manager will be there to greet you at check in where they will direct you to the dedicated loading line specially arranged for Classic Grand Touring to ensure we all board the ship together. Once on board, you can find your cabin accommodation and relax before meeting your tour companions for dinner in the highly respected Les Abers restaurant. Having enjoyed a fine dinner and a nightcap in the bar perhaps, you can retire to your comfortable Commodore or Club Class cabins for a good night s rest. THE HOTEL DE FRANCE For nearly 65 years, The Hotel de France has been THE secret hideaway of choice for some of the greatest drivers competing in the Le Mans 24-hour race. It was first discovered by racing managers in the early 50s and over the years, teams from Aston Martin, Porsche, Ford, Ferrari, Triumph and TVR have all prepared their cars in the hotel s courtyard, then driven them to and from the circuit on public roads. Le Mans winner Derek Bell MBE, Jacky Ickx, Jochen Rindt, Bruce McLaren, Sir Stirling Moss OBE, Jackie Stewart, Mario Andretti and many more have stayed, often returning again and again (our premier and deluxe rooms are named after them in homage). The hotel s extraordinary motoring heritage comes to life in the famous brasserie with its specially designed wallpaper: a montage of all visiting drivers and key events over the years. Memorabilia and vintage racing photographs also adorn the walls. Tuesday 30th April St Malo to La Chartre-sur-le-Loir 195 Miles This morning we will meet after breakfast before our arrival into St Malo at 08:00hrs. We will make our way to Le Manoir de l Automobile at Lohéac where coffee and croissants will be served on our arrival. Then onto the private track for some really exciting driving! This is a real treat to have exclusive use of this private racing track and we have booked a good amount of time to make sure everyone can enjoy plenty of laps before lunch. However, you must leave time to see the private collection of 400 stunning cars owned by the same very fortunate man. We will have lunch in a bijou restaurant near Le Manoir and then drive on, via Rennes and Le Mans, to the Hotel de France in La Chartre-sur-le-Loir. Tonight, we will be served a splendid dinner in the hotel restaurant, the Relais de Ronsard. Wednesday 1st May Visit Le Mans Circuit and Museum 65 Miles Following breakfast, we offer a day based on the Le Mans 24-hour Race. Leaving the hotel at 10.30hrs, we will follow the route to the circuit as used by the team cars driving to and from the circuit between 1953 and 1963, including the 1959 winning cars. At midday, you will enjoy the thrill of driving onto the Bugatti track at the Le Mans circuit. After lining up on the grids, you will drive around the track to then have a once in a lifetime photo opportunity under the famous Dunlop Bridge. Driving around the track, we will get onto the public sections of the circuit, from Tertre Rouge, via Mulsanne and Indianapolis through Arnage to the White House. Having enjoyed our time on the circuit, we will then head for lunch in one of our favourite local restaurants 10 minutes from the circuit. This evening will be our Gala Dinner in the hotel restaurant with a specially chosen menu full of French culinary delights and we are very pleased to welcome Maitland Cook as our after-dinner speaker. From 1967 to 1971 Maitland worked for J W Automotive Engineering Ltd, the Gulf-sponsored John Wyer team that raced the Ford GT40, Porsche 917, and Mirage Ford with conspicuous success. Thursday 2nd May A La Chartre-sur-le-Loir 180 Miles After a leisurely breakfast this morning, you can explore the town and stock up on local specialities, and wine, to take home before heading north to Caen for the return ferry home. Check in for the ferry is at 15:30hrs for a 16:30hrs sailing, which arrives back in Portsmouth at 21:15hrs. Bon voyage! 11 THE MILLE MIGLIA DRIVING TOUR - Full Tour 11th to 22nd of May Short Tour 11th to 18th of May 2019 We re pleased to introduce for the first time ever a choice of 2 tours for the Mille Miglia Our 12-day Full Tour is an escorted driving tour starting and ending in the UK taking in some of Europe s most scenic driving roads through France, the Swiss Alps and Italy to experience the atmospheric start of the Mille Miglia race in Brescia along with a day of spectating as the cars race through the city of Modena. Our 8-Day Short Tour features all of the above and ends in Modena where you have the choice of driving home under your own steam, or alternatively, we can arrange for your car to be transported with our fully licenced and insured car transportation and logistics partner. We can then arrange flights for you from a local airport to your preferred destination anywhere in the world. Thursday 16th May NON-DRIVING DAY: Coach to Brescia for Race Start (staying in Iseo) The excitement builds today as we return to Brescia by coach for the race start. You can wander around the lively piazzas and once again mingle with the competitors preparing to begin their adventure. We have an excellent vantage point (a bar!) from which to cheer the teams as they leave the town. Brescia also has great shopping and many historic piazzas and cobbled streets with restaurants etc. The coach will be ready to collect everyone from a predetermined location and time which will deliver us back to our hotel for an evening meal. This will be our 21st year of escorting discerning clients to this spectacle driving through France and Switzerland into Italy staying at the finest hotels. The drives are carefully planned to ensure you enjoy your holiday, relax and admire the scenery. You ll be close to the 440 historic cars and their crews for scrutineering and on the following day will witness the excitement before the race starts with views from an excellent vantage point. Our Mille Miglia driving tour is one of our most popular to date. With over 20 years of experience, our relationship with hoteliers and restaurants, along with our knowledge of local roads, routes and vantage points is second to none. THE ITINERARY Saturday 11th May Eurotunnel, Folkestone to Champagne, France 190 Miles Leaving Folkestone on the Eurotunnel train to France, our first hotel is a drive into the heart of Champagne country to the beautiful 5-Star Château de Fère. There will be time to stroll around the magnificent ruins of the old castle before dinner in the fabulous hotel restaurant. Sunday 12th May Champagne to Beaune 200 Miles Today will begin by driving to the former Reims (Gueux) GP circuit for a photo opportunity. Our journey continues to Beaune, via only the most scenic D roads, where we ll be staying at Hotel Le Cedre, the 5-star hotel set in a garden boasting 100 year old trees. Their restaurant will serve fine gastronomy and vintage wines. Monday 13th May Beaune to Lake Geneva 140 Miles After breakfast, we cross through the Jura towards the Swiss Alps to our hotel in the town of Montreux beside the picturesque Lake Geneva (or Lac Léman). There are unrivalled views from the balconies and terraces across the lake to the mountains beyond. Dinner with wine will be in the hotel s atmospheric restaurant. Tuesday 14th May Lake Geneva to Lake Iseo 230 Miles Today we enjoy a dramatic day of driving as we head into Italy via the most stunning mountain passes. We will stop for a spot of lunch by Lake Maggiore before continuing our journey to our hillside hotel overlooking Lake Iseo which will be our home for the next 3 nights. Dinner, with wine, is included at the hotel. Wednesday 15th May NON-DRIVING DAY: AM Boat trip on Lake Iseo - PM Brescia for Scrutineering Today is a car-free day. Following breakfast, we will be collected for a very short drive by coach to Lake Iseo where we will enjoy a private charter cruise around Monte Isola. Our boat will dock, and we will step back into the coach which will then take us into Brescia allowing us to get close to the cars and drivers during pre-race scrutineering. Following an atmospheric afternoon, we will enjoy an evening meal in the centre of town at one of our favourite local restaurants before being collected and heading back to our hotel in Iseo. Friday 17th May Lake Iseo to Modena 110 Miles Today is an easy day of driving as we head south to Modena, stopping for a Mille Miglia museum tour on the way. We will arrive into Modena in the early afternoon and visit the Museo Casa Enzo Ferrari, which focuses on the life and work of the great man. The Museum is just a short walk from our hotel with the Maserati Museum also nearby. Dinner this evening will be at a restaurant in Modena. Continued overleaf 11

12 Saturday 18th May MUSEUM & RACE DAY: AM Ferrari in Maranello PM Free Time staying in Modena Following breakfast, in the morning we will drive to Maranello, the home of Ferrari. We will visit the Ferrari Factory and Museum. Beyond that, the race passes through the city today! We have picked out a vantage point to watch the cars as they pass through the city on their final leg of the Mille Miglia. The afternoon is yours to enjoy with other museums nearby to consider including Ducati and Lamborghini. You are free to enjoy your evening with plenty of restaurant choices in Modena close to the hotel. Our optional Short Tour ends here where you have the option to head back to the UK under your own steam or alternatively have flights and car transportation arranged for you to your end destination. Sunday 19th May Modena to Lake Garda 110 Miles We begin our journey home today, heading North for a night at the internationally renowned Lake Garda. Our hotel overlooks the lake from its most northernly point with views of the lake stretching as far as the horizon. We will enjoy an evening meal in the hotel s fabulous restaurant. Monday 20th May Lake Garda to Lucerne 220 Miles Today we head back into the Alps. Our route will be based on which passes are accessible, but even if some are closed, we will still experience more breathtaking scenery and fantastic roads as we wind through valleys, beside lakes and climb into the Alps on our way to Zurich. Dinner, with wine, is included for this evening. Tuesday 21st May Lucerne to Metz 245 Miles Our drive takes us through some lovely French countryside and we will stop at Mulhouse to view the fabulous private collection of cars at the Cite de L Automobile, also known as the Schlumpf Collection before embarking on a truly beautiful stretch of road (the D430) en route to Metz. There will be a champagne reception before our end of tour dinner at the hotel in Metz this evening. 15 THE SPA CLASSIC DRIVING TOUR - 17th to 20th of May 2019 A four-day escorted driving tour to the world-famous Spa-Francorchamps including Eurotunnel crossings, hotel accommodation and tickets to the Spa Classic event For classic car enthusiasts, the Spa Classic event in Belgium needs no introduction. The weekend event is held at the legendary Spa-Francorchamps race circuit, one of the most exciting motor racing circuits in the world. Our tour gives you the opportunity to drive the legendary circuit in your own car as well as witness the brilliant racing all weekend. THE ITINERARY Friday 17th May Eurotunnel, Folkestone to Spa 220 Miles The tour begins in Folkestone for a morning Eurotunnel train to Calais. Lunch is included today in the Drivers Club located at the bottom of Eau Rouge on the inside of the circuit. After lunch, it is time to return to the cars for our second track lap session. Following the lap, we will regroup in the circuit café for a coffee to reflect on your experience in the Ring Taxi. After lunch, we continue our journey to our first overnight stop, the newly renovated Fontevraud Abbey. Thursday 23rd May La Chartre-sur-le-Loir to La Rochefoucauld 160 Miles After breakfast at the hotel, we will aim to depart around 10:00hrs to allow plenty of time to enjoy today s scenic drive. 21 THE PYRENEAN EXTENSION (FROM THE PAU TOUR) - 27th to 30th of May 2019 An optional extension to the fabulous Grand Prix de Pau Tour taking in 3 days of stunning mountainous driving at the very top of the Iberian Peninsula This three-night extension visits three excellent hotels. Our first night is spent in the mountains in the town of Boltana before dropping down into Pamplona for our second night. Our final night is spent on the seafront in Hondarribia as recently featured in The Trip to Spain with Rob Brydon and Steve Coogan. THE ITINERARY Monday 27th May Pau to Boltana 100 Miles Today you will experience a full day of beautiful Pyrenean driving. Having checked out of the hotel around 09:30hrs, we will clear the main roads of Pau and very quickly join the D934, aka the Col du Pourtalet. This road is fast, wide, open and scenic with the most beautiful views of Ossau Valley. The second half of our journey takes us across the border into Spain before joining the Eje Pirenaico (N-260) en route to the hotel. Tuesday 28th May Boltana to Pamplona 180 Miles Today we have another day of spectacular Pyrenean driving planned en route to the fabulous Hotel Castillo de Gorraiz Golf and Spa. We have around 4 hours of driving to do and will leave the hotel after breakfast and re-join the N-260 before heading up into the mountains towards Pamplona. Wednesday 29th May Pamplona to Guipúzcoa 60 Miles Timings allow for a more relaxed day today and an early arrival at our hotel in Hondarribia. We continue our scenic drive from the hotel via Lake of Eugi before heading towards Hondarribia. The scenic D-roads continue from here as we carry on down to just south of Le Mans. We then pick up the D304 down to La Chartre-sur-le-Loir, the road used by several of the Le Mans racing teams back in the day and is still a must-do drive for motoring enthusiasts visiting the area. We will have lunch at the famous Hotel de France, where the GT40 and Aston Martin teams were based over the 24-hour race weekend in the 60s and which continues to welcome celebrities, such as Derek Bell and Jackie Ickx, from the motor racing world throughout the year. From here we have a beautiful, gentle two-hour drive to the town of Chinon, where we are based for the next three nights. This evening our welcome dinner will be in an excellent local restaurant in the town. Saturday 22nd June Chinon Rally Day 100 Miles Today we join the official Chinon Classic rally (a progression of what used to be the Grand Prix de Tours and run by the same organisers as the Angoulême Circuit des Remparts), which takes in the best roads around the Loire with a coffee stop along the way; this being France there will be wine, cheeses, meats and soft drinks too. Though the final details are yet to be announced for this year, there is bound to be, as previous years, a stunning lunch location before we meander back to Chinon. This evening there is a gala dinner in the underground vaults of the magnificent Royal Fortress, a unique and special location for an evening s entertainment. Sunday 23rd June Race Day Today the roads around the town are closed off for the demonstration circuits. You are in prime position to spectate and take your car out to show the crowds. Again, it s not a race, simply enjoy the attention as you drive and don t forget to wave! There is plenty to see and do in the town during the day with a large car paddock, exhibitors and stands under the trees alongside the river, not to mention the picturesque cobbled streets of the town to stroll around. This evening we have a finale dinner planned in another superb restaurant in the town. Monday 24th June Chinon to Caen 170 Miles After breakfast, you make your way back up to Caen (170 miles mainly along motorways allowing you plenty of time and opportunity for comfort breaks) for the 16:30hrs sailing back to Portsmouth. 23

Saturday 6th July Le Mans Circuit for Classic Days 65 Miles After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Le Mans via the routes made famous by the Le Mans winning teams in the 50s and 60s to get to and from the circuit. Upon arrival, we will park the cars in our private Classic Park area and register those who are taking part in the track lap sessions. Lunch is included today and will take place in the Welcome Centre above the start-finish straight. After lunch, the Classic Tour departs which is an 80km relaxed rally around the local roads. This is fantastic fun and a great way to enjoy the afternoon before returning to the hotel for the evening. Sunday 7th July Le Mans Circuit for Classic Days 65 Miles Today we head back to the circuit for the Autosur Classic Parade which takes place in the morning. All the cars head onto the circuit for a huge parade lap which is a fantastic spectacle. Saturday 10th August Lunéville to Calais 319 Miles Today marks the end of the tour, however, the crossing is on a Flexiplus basis therefore you are welcome to choose the crossing that suits you best. Sunday 4th August Château de Fère to Beaune 214 Miles After a beautifully prepared French breakfast, we warm the cars ready to begin the D-road drive down to the next hotel, the Hotel Le Cèdre in Beaune, just west of Dijon. Before we begin the main part of our journey we will visit the old Circuit de Reims-Gueux for a photo opportunity in front of the old pit buildings. Once again, we will enjoy the gorgeous food on offer in our private dining room for the gourmet dinner at the hotel this evening. Monday 5th August Beaune to Grindelwald 217 Miles Today we cross the border into Switzerland en route to Grindelwald. We will stop for lunch in Lausanne overlooking Lake Geneva before heading up into the Swiss mountains. The stunning Hotel Belvedere, facing the famous Eiger mountain, will be our base for the next three nights. We will enjoy a welcome aperitif on the hotel balcony with fabulous views followed by a locally sourced Swiss dinner in the hotel restaurant. Tuesday 6th August Grindelwald to Lauterbrunnen 13 Miles The tour continues with a short drive from the Hotel in Grindelwald to Lauterbrunnen. We will park the cars in Stechelberg and make our way up to Mürren by cable car before a short walk to the Schilthorn cable car. We will ascend 2,970m above sea level to enjoy the spectacular landscape where scenes from the Bond film On her Majesty s Secret Service were filmed. Lunch will be in the panoramic revolving restaurant and we will visit the Bond World museum at the top of the mountain. The skyline walk located at the Birg cable car station is a must for some breathtaking photo opportunities. Wednesday 7th August Grindelwald to Andermatt 75 Miles After breakfast, we head down to the car park to get the cars fired up ready for the drive to the Chedi Hotel in Andermatt. Our drive involves both the Grimsel Pass and the Furka Pass as we wind our way around these fantastic roads peaking at 2,426 metres above sea level. We will drive past the Grand Hotel Glacier du Rhone which featured in the James Bond Goldfinger film and drive through the famous town of Realp where we will attempt to recreate a scene from the film Goldfinger. This evening we will have dinner in our private dining room in the hotel restaurant. Thursday 8th August Rest day in Andermatt This morning we will aim to leave the hotel around 09:30hrs to drive on one of our all-time favourite roads, the Susten Pass. After returning to the hotel, we have arranged to board the newly built gondola to go up into the mountains in Andermatt. Our destination is one of the beautiful mountain restaurants for a typical Swiss lunch with stunning views. Sunday 8th September Soto del Barco to León 100 Miles After breakfast, the tour follows a scenic route south to the capital of the Province of León. The city of León is home to many churches and cathedrals noted for their architecture and art. Among them is the Gothic 13th-century Catedral de Léon, with its towers and flying buttresses and the Romanesque 10th-century Basílica de San Isidoro known for its frescoes and royal tombs. Tonight you will be staying at the unique Hotel Real Colegiata San Isidoro, located in the middle of the city. Arriving just after lunch will give you plenty of opportunities to explore the beautiful city of León, from historic buildings and parks to shopping. Monday 9th September Leon to Douro Valley 225 Miles Today brings you a wonderful drive with contrasting scenery and roads as you cross from Spain into Portugal - you will corkscrew up into the mountains with spectacular views and then sweep through vineyards and olive groves. The last leg of the journey takes you through the pine forests of the National Parco de Pinhão. Our hotel, nestled in the centre of the Douro valley, has beautiful views across the river and vineyards which you can enjoy whilst you have a drink and watch the sunset before dinner in the hotel. Tuesday 10th September Free/Rest Day Today is a free day to relax in the sun or to explore the pretty local towns along the river. Porto is just an hour s drive away or we can arrange for you to join a river cruise. This evening you will have a private tour of a local vineyard, the Quinta da Pacheca, and sample their table wines and ports. 30 Thursday 12th September Zamora to Camaleno 180 Miles A most scenic drive takes you north into the Picos de Europa Mountains for two nights. The route is through national parks before entering the mountain region with roads twisting and turning as you climb higher and higher towards the Parador de Fuente Dé. This typical mountain region hotel is at the foot of the cable car leading to the Áliva viewpoint for some breathtaking panoramic views. Dinner this evening will be in the hotel restaurant. Friday 13th September Free/Rest Day Today is a free day offering a choice of many different activities from trail walking to exploring the bustling town of Potes and the local churches and museums. There is a local vineyard where you can enjoy a tour and tastings, or you can take the cable car to marvel at the astounding views. This evening we will dine in the hotel restaurant. Saturday 14th September Camaleno to Santander 112 Miles Enjoy a leisurely breakfast this morning, as the ferry does not depart until 20.30hrs, giving you plenty of time to make your way on a gentle drive to Santander. There are several route options all starting with the dramatic canyons and gorges with rock faces that rise vertically above you as you leave the Picos mountains. There are some lovely coastal roads that take you through seaside villages and towns providing opportunities to stop off, or you could head straight into Santander. It s not just a ferry port, but the elegant capital city of the Cantabria region. You will be sailing home overnight on the Cap Finistère, the same cruise ship that you arrived on. On board is a cinema, spa, swimming pool and several bars and cafés. We will host a finale dinner on board including wine in the on board à la carte restaurant. 33 ANGOULÊME CIRCUIT DES REMPARTS TOUR - 11th to 16th of September 2019 This 6-day driving tour includes return ferries, accommodation at the Hotel de France, as well as Angoulême, and, includes hospitality and race tickets The whole weekend is packed with events starting with a Concours d Elegance, a rally through the Cognac vineyards, a gala buffet in the impressive covered market and of course the racing on the city s Remparts. Thursday 12th September St Malo to La Chartre-sur-le-Loir 195 Miles On arrival into France follow our carefully selected routes on scenic roads via a coffee and croissant stop overlooking the lake at Combourg. We then continue to the stunning Château Le Lude for lunch and a guided tour. We park our cars within the grounds for a special photo opportunity before a short drive to our overnight stay at the ex-aston Martin Team hotel at La Chartre-sur-le-Loir. This evening we have a fabulous French dinner included at the hotel. Friday 13th September La Chartre-sur-le-Loir to Angoulême 180 miles After a traditional French breakfast at the hotel, we have a picturesque drive down past Tours and through the Vienne valley with a suggested coffee stop in one of the region s prettiest villages. We provide a light lunch just a few miles from the coffee stop before beginning the final part of the journey to Angoulême. Having put the cars to bed for the evening in the secure underground car park and checked into your hotel room we will distribute your rally packs and tickets over a private drinks reception. This evening is free for you to familiarise yourself with the town and visit the Concours d Elegance. Saturday 14th September Angoulême Rally 100 Miles This morning the scenic rally (for eligible cars) departs on some extremely fine roads surrounding Angoulême. There are checkpoint/refreshment points along the way and an excellent 4-course lunch taken at a surprise location. Sunday 15th Angoulême Race Day Today the racing begins! Practice and qualifying take place on the circuit during the morning sessions. Glasgow to Glencoe 126 miles After a hearty breakfast, the tour continues to the Isle of Eriska Hotel Spa located on a private island near Oban. Our route takes you north along the banks of Loch Lomond on the A82 to Tyndrum. We then take the longer route round to the hotel towards Glencoe as this part of the A82 is known to provide some of the most memorable driving experiences. Friday 4th October Inverness to Dunblane 191 miles We aim to leave the hotel at 09:30hrs and head south via one of the most beautiful roads Scotland has to offer, the Old Military Road also known as the A939. This journey is full of smooth sweeping corners, open roads and incredible scenery. Our destination is the 5-star Cromlix Hotel, a Victorian country house near Dunblane and owned by Mr Andy Murray. Upon arrival, we will park the cars in the hotel grounds and check into our rooms. Dinner this evening will be in our private dining room. Saturday 5th October Dunblane to Edinburgh 82 miles This morning we have another relaxed start to the day. We will aim to leave the hotel at 10:00hrs join the beautiful Scottish roads once again and head to the Knockhill Racing Circuit. Here we will all take part in some parade laps with some great photo opportunities on the circuit. Following the parade laps, you can now either choose to purchase the Triple Track Experience or head into Edinburgh for a spot of lunch and some shopping. The Triple Track Experience includes the chance to drive 10 laps in a single seater, 10 laps in a Legends racing car and 4 coaching laps in a Honda Civic Type R.
