4 Concept & Design XtremeLand is latest state of the art entertainment concept from Al-Othaim Leisure and Tourism Co. with focus on playful learning. XtremeLand, inspired by a creative and boundless imagination, wherein all experiences will directly contribute to the overall satisfaction and happiness of our customers will reveal as the most visited and preferred entertainment destination in the country. XtremeLand will feature products for toddlers to teenagers with families. Our interactive games and play areas will engage children in two-way activities thus nurturing vital developmental skills, encouraging creative and independent thinking. All Xperiences are further enhanced by a latest variety of entertainment games with a real-life battlefield action that equipped with the latest and advanced video gaming machines for players. Dynamic Playground System comprising of various activities boasting a unique twist for kids to explore and enjoy, which is set to be a fun-filled entertainment experience destination. XtremeLand at Mall Of Qatar will provide massive entertainment sprawling over 48,000 sq. ft. area and will have major attractions which include, 7D Theater, Drop & Twist Tower, Giant Slide and Clip N Climb activity for children. At XtremeLand, teenagers will enjoy endless motion fun at Trampoline park whilst TagaJ will provide for the rotating inflatable fun to or toddlers. Three-storey soft play area will provide more than 100 activities for children which are not only limited to fun but also develop the cognitive, social and physical skills for the children.

18 Entrance Ground Floor Carousel (one of the oldest existing attractions) at the entrance as a symbol for an entertainment center. Immediately into action with a 2 layer Adventure rope course. To bring the action of the Adventure rope course nearby, we created a ramp (connection to mezzanine floor) which turns into the 1 st and 2 nd layer of the rope course.

25 Thrill attractions XtremeLand wouldn t be XTREME without the breathtaking Thrill rides such as Freestyler, Midi dance party 360, Drop & Twist tower and Maverick ride. The Maverick ride has a fountain in front that reacts simultaneous with the ride. A raised platform with different climbing walls is the perfect animated tunnel for the younger kids in the North Pole ride. The big Family Swing claims the central spot of the Family Entertainment Center.

44 Interiors GRP column cladding, strong, robust. GRP Stands for Glassfibre Reinforced Plastics, also referred to as Fibreglass, Composite Plastics, and in the USA, FRP. It is an amazingly versatile material, and one that is little understood in industry, but which has truly immense potential across a wide spectrum of applications. For instance, it will not melt, but will burn in a similar way to wood, but can be easily and cheaply made fire retardant. It is very strong - seven times the flexural strength of steel - yet very lightweight with the tremendous energy absorption properties which have made it a common material for racing cars and boats. Its finish is achieved in contact with a mould surface and takes on the precise texture of that mould. Anything from the highest showroom gloss to the texture of cast iron, stone, or the finest grained wood. Colour choices are infinite, from the complete ranges of BS and RAL. However, GRP is a moulded product which requires some sort of former or tool from which it is moulded. In it simplest and most common form, know as hand-lay, the mould id first prepared with a release wax, similar to car polish. The colour is then applied by brush or spray to the mould face as a gelcoat, which is thickened, coloured resin. This is allowed to cure for about minutes and is followed by layers of glassfibre matt together with the resin. This can be put down or layed-up by brush, or even sprayed using special machines which chop continuous filaments of glassfibre into specified lengths and blow these down in a spray of resin. The product is then formed by the hardening of the resin and glass matrix into an integrated moulding.

52 Joinery All counters with Corian finishing. Corian is the brand name for a solid surface material created by E. I. du Pont de Nemours and Company (DuPont). Its primary use is as a countertop/benchtop surface, though it has many other applications. It is composed of acrylic polymer and alumina trihydrate (ATH), a material derived from bauxite ore. Corian is the original material of this type, created by DuPont scientists in A number of direct solid surface competitors to Corian have emerged since the expiration of DuPont s patent on solid surfaces. Corian is manufactured in three thicknesses: 6 millimetres (0.24 in), 12 millimetres (0.47 in), and 19 millimetres (0.75 in). Most Corian is manufactured at a DuPont facility near Buffalo, New York. Cross-section cuts show consistent color and particulate patterning evenly distributed throughout the material, giving rise to the category name Solid Surface.
