4 Saturday 29 th April Shrewsbury Shopping Shrewsbury is the closest town to Adcote based around the river Severn. During the summer months it is the perfect spot to relax with a yummy milkshake from the Pour House or a delicious snack and the Burger House Shrewsbury also boasts a wide selection of shops from specialty boutiques and local businesses to bigger chain stores and high street fashion. Roller Disco The boarding house welcomes you to the party of the season. Dress up grab your friends and go for a glide or break out a few dance moves. This weeks in house activity involves disco lights, grooving music and roller skates what could be more fun.

5 Sunday 30 th April Cycle around Lake Vyrnwy Escape the hustle and bustle of Adcote life get some exercise and fresh air with a relaxed cycle around Lake Vyrnwy. Grab a few Insta shots and embrace nature. Bikes and helmets will be provided.

6 Saturday 6 th May Emma Bridgewater Pottery Tour and pottery Painting Based in the heart of the historic Stoke Potteries, in a Victorian building on the banks of the Caldon Canal. Join us on a Factory Tour and try your hand at decorating a piece of your very own pottery. Relax for lunch in the beautiful café, or enjoy an afternoon in the garden behind the factory. There is a factory outlet shop, offering a selection of seconds and discontinued items, and a gift shop selling the newest designs. Check out the website

7 Sunday 7 th May Pontcysyllte Aqueduct Cruises In a traditional canal boat float along the stream in the sky. Enjoy a boat trip on the Llangollen Canal over 127 feet above the ground. Sail between the treetops and grab a few scenic photos. We will find a nice spot to sit along the waterfront to enjoy lunch and hopefully grab a few rays of sun

8 Saturday 13 th May Liverpool shopping and Beatles Museum Explore Liverpool, shop until you drop and get down to boogie at The Beatles museum. We will start the day early with a bus ride to Liverpool and then hop on to the hop-on hop-off tour bus for a quick look around the city. These tickets will be able to be used all day so this would be a perfect way for you to get around the city. Liverpool boasts many shopping options but we suggest checking out Liverpool one with over 170 shops we are sure you will find something you love. Using your tour bus ticket you also have the option to check out The Beatles Museum, one of Britain s most iconic boy bands

9 Sunday 14 th May Escapism Chester One way in and only one way out. Hunt for clues, crack codes and solve puzzles to escape the room. Escapism is a live escape room experience. You will be locked in a room for 60 minutes and challenged to hunt clues & solve puzzles to make your escape. Each room is designed around a different story or experience. We want to creatively challenge your brain and spark your imagination! You must be over the age of 10 to participate.

10 Saturday 20 th May Alton Towers Water Park There's no end to the fun you can have in the Alton Towers Waterpark. You can unwind in Lagoona Bay or the Lazy River and let all your stresses float away, or enjoy some adrenaline thrilled adventure on the Master Blaster Water Coaster, sending you speeding round the Waterpark at exhilarating speeds.

11 Sunday 21 st May Telford Cinema and shopping Shopping spree at Telford Shopping Center. Stock up on all the necessities from your favourite shops and maybe splurge a little at one of the many restaurants or cafes Sit back, relax and enjoy a movie at Cineworld Cinema. Movie to be decided at a later date some possibilities are: Guardians of the Galaxy Diary of a wimpy kid: A wimp will rise Everything, Everything Baywatch Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead men tell no tales Suggestions Welcome

12 Saturday 10 th June Trafford Trafford is a shopper s heaven, offering absolutely everything you could want on a girls day out. With all the high street stores and top designers there is also many café restaurants and activities such as a cinema, Laser Quest arena, Paradise Island miniature golf, Namco Funscape with dodgems, bowling and arcade games. 13 Sunday 11 th June Snowdon Mountain Railway Let Snowdon Mountain Railway take you on a journey of a lifetime to the rooftop of Wales. Snowdon is the highest mountain in Wales and England, at 1085m to the Summit. Since 1896 visitors have been travelling to Llanberis, to experience the unique rail journey to the Summit and explore the myths and legend. Snowdon is said to be the burial place of the giant ogre Rhita, vanquished by King Arthur. Some believe that Arthur s Knights still sleep beneath.

14 Saturday 17 th June Chirk Castel Segway tour With its medieval tower and dungeons, award-winning gardens and extensive parkland, there is a lot to explore at Chirk Castle in Wales. Chirk Castle has over 480 acres of estate parkland for you to explore, with wild ponies and sheep. Once trained, we will head off into the beautiful woodland, fields and Deer park surrounding Chirk Castle. Navigating through 500 acres of picturesque settings of the Welsh and Shropshire countryside in a stunning 2.5 mile trail Pamper night and Hairdresser Get in touch with your girly side and treat yourself. We will be creating our own face masks and painting nails. With a visit from a hairdresser/beautician you have the option to get your haircut, a manicure, pedicure, fake tan or wax. We will be feeling fabulous by the end of the night. There will be a chick flick on in small hall so bring your blankets and pillows and snuggle by the fire.

15 Sunday 18 th June Telford Shopping and Ice Skating Gather your friends for a relaxing glide across the ice or whip out a few jumps and spins at the Telford Ice Skating rink. Beginner s welcome! Finish the afternoon off with a shopping spree at Telford Shopping Center. Stock up on all the necessities from your favourite shops and maybe splurge a little at one of the many restaurants or cafes Shopping List

16 Saturday 24 th June Go Ape! Tree top Adventure Park Live life more adventurously. Head into the forest for a high-wire tree top adventure. Tackle high rope obstacles, leap off Tarzan Swings, and glide down zip wires to finish, all whilst enjoying breath-taking scenery. Unfortunately there are a few requirements to become a tree top explorer, the minimum age is 10 years, minimum height is 4ft 7 (1.4m) and as you will be strapped in to a harness please wear appropriate clothing and footwear.

17 Sunday 25 th May Carding Mill Valley Picnic/walk and Shopping in Church Stretton Take a break from Adcote life with a picnic at Carding Mill Valley and a relaxing stroll through the valley. There will also be the opportunity for a little retail therapy in the nearby town of Church Stretton. Church Stretton offers many small businesses, vintage and antique stores, enchanting emporium of gifts, cafes, sweetshops, dress shops, a fabulous deli and much much more.

18 Saturday 1 st July Canoe trip to Bridge North The River Severn, which teems with wildlife, is the longest river in Britain and winds through the county, offering you a perfect opportunity to experience Shropshire s natural beauty. Drifting down river by canoe is the best way of appreciating this beautiful secret corner of England.

19 Sunday 2 nd July Adcote Family Summer Fete A Day of traditional fete game, fairground rides, hog roast, bouncy castle, food and craft stalls. There will also be live music, Adcote s Got Talent and a classic British Bake Off. 10 gets you entry, lunch and a few tokens to use at the rides, stalls and fete games.
