2 Important information Pakuranga LEISURE CENTRE Make sure your child has a fun, safe and exciting experience by enrolling them in your local recreation centre s holiday programme. Our programmes are inexpensive, varied and heaps of fun. We re CYF approved and registered. Families may be eligible for the WINZ Family Support Subsidy. Go to your nearest Work & Income office or applications can be completed online at workandincome.govt.nz Each Auckland Council Leisure centre has a timetable of exciting adventures. All activities are supervised by experienced staff and children are grouped with others of similar age to participate in age-appropriate activities. Our structured programme runs from 8am-5pm each day. Complimentary before and after hours care is offered from 7-8am and 5-6pm each day. Bookings are essential and payment is required upon booking. Remember to make sure your child brings a packed lunch, water, sunscreen and hat, and if swimming or water is involved; togs, towel and a change of clothes.

3 Pakuranga leisure centre Here you ll find a wide variety of sports and recreation programmes. There s something for everyone with programmes designed for various ages, fitness levels and abilities. Located in the heart of Pakuranga, our centre is a popular meeting place for young people and offers everything from baby gymnastics through to retired recreation, social sport leagues and badminton. We also run a variety of cross-fit style group fitness classes. Our facilities include a youth lounge, sports stadium and an outdoor courtyard. CHRISTMAS CARDS $22 Make a Christmas card for family or friends. We will post them so they get to them in time for Christmas. BACKYARD GAMES $22 We will play some Kiwi classic games of cricket/ padder ball, hit and swing, badminton outside. CHRISTMAS COOKIES $25 Bake and decorate Christmas cookies to take home to your family. PLC VS. HLC $25 We re off to Howick Leisure Centre to join them in a day of fun games and activities. CHRISTMAS CARNIVAL $25 Get into the spirit at our Kiwi Christmas Carnival! We ll have a bouncy castle, games and loads of fun, topped off with a sausage sizzle. CHRISTMAS IN THE PARK $30 We re off to Farm Cove Reserve to play on the giant snakes and ladders and to relax in the sun with music and games. MON 5 JAN TUE 6 JAN WED 7 JAN THU 8 JAN FRI 9 JAN YOU CHOOSE $22 You decide your activity. Play on the bouncy castle? Jump on the big tramp? Play sports? Colour in? Dance? Sing? It s all about you. SPLASH OUT AT MNAK $25 Bring your togs as we splash out at MNAK. We will also get free time to play sports or hang out in the movie room. CHILL AT CLENDON $25 Let s find out what Clendon has to offer as we visit Te Matariki Clendon Community Centre and Library. Bring sports shoes and reading glasses. OFF TO ŌTARA $25 Jump on the bus and head to Ōtara Pool and Leisure Centre. Remember they have pools, so bring your togs and a towel. FOLLOW THE LEADER $22 The teens will be taking you through some games so listen up and one day you could be a leader too.

PIRATE OR PRINCESS $22 Do you want to be a pirate or a princess for a day? Sail through the obstacles or get your hair and nails done. KIWI SPORTS $22 Check out a collection of all of the programmes that we offer. We ll have gym sports, basketball and other challenges! STRAWBERRY FARM AND POOLS $35 Come ready with your togs and towel, as we stop by at the strawberry farm before going to the pools for a swim. TEDDY BEAR PICNIC WITH HLC $25 We are off to Howick Leisure Centre to join their Teddy Bear Picnic. Bring your teddy and a small plate to share. RAINBOW S END $50 We re off to Rainbow s End! Cruise the log flume, ride the roller coaster, get wet on the bumper boats and swing on the pirate ship. SNACKS AND MOVIES $35 Chill and relax with us as we watch the latest blockbuster movie. Before we go we will make some snacks to take with us! ACTIVE KIDS $22 Today we will be having a go at new activities. Let s get active and have fun at the same time. Or watch your favourite flick! Closed Auckland Anniversary Day BAKE AND SHAKE OFF $25 Aprons on, spoons out we re going to bake some yummy treats today and mix up some yummy shakes. Later, we ll shake off with a dance competition and games. WET N WILD $22 Bring your togs and a change of clothes, we re going to get wet on the slippery slide, and wild with lots of fun water games.
