How can you get pilots to abide by the NSAs - one way to do this is to FINE offenders. Can I hope for a polite notification to the pilot, in the hopes he will be more observant of the noise sensitive zone next visit? 11 :00:00 Aircraft Category Non - Specific H-15 The amount of air traffic noise from Porter flights directly over my South Leaside neighborhood at certain times of the day (between 6:30-7:30am, 5pm - 6:30 and around 10pm) is relentless and unbearable. The increase in air traffic noise and presence seems to correspond to the early March island airport expansion. Some of the planes fly so low it feels like I could throw a rock and hit the plane as it roars over my house. It is unacceptable to have so much air traffic noise and low flying presence particularly in a neighborhood that is nowhere near an airport. I want to know why Porter is not flying over the lake water on their eastern destinations versus flying over north east Toronto, which is a heavily populated residential area. I will be submitting complaints through my MP as will others in my neighborhood. AFTNS tracked no aircraft activity from BBTCA in Leaside neighbourhood. Non - Specific B-05 This is to include a concern raised in an article in The Bulletin newsletter on Page 4 by a gentleman living at the end of Runway 15 (which I believe is oriented N-S). The letter questioned why people complain about airport noise; yet, he noted that his conversations get drowned out for 3 seconds, and that this occurs for him several times per hour. Clearly a fixed wing flying low over the city. I hear jets flying overhead constantly around midnight, endless helicopters sitting on hospital roofs, the circling sounds of flight school planes and i try not to complain but i am going to start now. This was a fixed wing aircraft at 3:45 am, louder than any helicopter i have heard. 14 :38:00 H-12 Once again a Porter aircraft flying at less than 800 feet over the our home at Lakeshore and Royal York Rd. scared the heck out of our family this evening. More than 6 kilometers from the island airport, far too low with no excuse but ignorance on the part of the pilot. Someone must take these guys to task, they have the whole of the lake to make their approaches and landings to the island airport, yet they choose to overfly residences previously protected from this outrageous noise. Why is Porter not flying planes over the water rather than coming northeast and roaring over our houses?!? There is loud air traffic noise pretty much less than every minute on certain hours. It is maddening to not live anywhere near this airport and to have to suffer through this relentless noise! B-05 Non - Aircraft Related Once again this morning as on several occasions in the past I was awoken between 5Am to 6:15AM by the sound ot reverse backup beeper on a large vehicle or emergency vehicle at the Bathurst ferry terminal. Please review this immediately as this is completely unnecessary and lasts for several minutes. My windows are less than 100m from your ferry. Page 17 of 22

18 :07:00 H-12 Aircraft Category General Aviation DH8D de Havilland Q400 Mimico Area I want to report another overflight of a porter aircraft more than 10 kilometers from the island airport on this brilliant clear day. The plane came from the east and then at Browns Line made a sharp, low 180 degree turn back toward the island airport where at Lakeshore Blvd. W. and Royal York Rd. it was just at 800 feet from the ground. These Porter pilots are needlessly desturbing our lives and destroying the property values here in South Etobicoke. When they have the whole of the lake to make their approaches to the Island Airport, who at Nav Canada is going to show these people the approach and departure procedure for this airport. If the lights could be turnt off during this hour, why does the lights at the Airport have to be on all night long every single night while the Airport is not in use?. If you want to conserve the energy, please consider turn them off at night. Thank you! :31:00 B-05 Loud sustained engine noise spanning 10 minutes around 10:31am on a Sunday morning. I thought that there was an agreement about 2500 feet and that there wouldn t be any military aircraft accept in emergencies. The flight path of the aircraft did not indicate a flight over Ward's Island :41:00 B-05 Loud sustained plane engine noise from 641am leading to takeoff at 645am - why? I would think this is a straight forward problem that the TPA should be able to manage. We should only be hearing birds chirping (as they had for 15 years+) to at the very earliest 645am sharp, when the first plane engine is supposed to be switched on for warm up. Note that the community was never consulted regarding the TPAs imposed 6:45 AM communal wake up time.
