2 History of Southern Innkeepers Association Founded in 1908, the Southern Innkeepers Association is proud to be the oldest lodging organization in the United States. The organization was formed to bring about a better acquaintance among those in the hotel profession. Our goal is to promote interaction among professionals from the finest resorts in the southern states of North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, the District of Columbia, Arkansas, Texas and Louisiana. 110th Annual Meeting Overview Our annual meetings are always graciously hosted at our members properties. This year we are excited to have SIA member Casey Lavin and Sea Island welcome us with true southern hospitality! Annual meetings offer our members unique opportunities for networking with peers and vendors in the Southeast s hospitality industry. Meetings are both educational and social, and significant others and families are welcomed to attend. Meetings are designed to be small and exclusive, since only members and invited guests are in attendance. Included in this sponsorship level is registration for two people to attend all meeting functions (lodging not included) and the opportunity for the representative to present a brief, verbal introduction to your products and services. Also, your company will be provided a table on Monday and Tuesday in the meeting room to be used for promotional items or a tabletop display. In addition, you may include an advertisement to be inserted in the meeting program packet given to all attendees. This sponsorship level is available to multiple companies. Advertisements must be one page (8.5 x 11 or smaller) and must be supplied and ed to headquarters by May 15, $1500 Gold Sponsor This opportunity allows your company prime exposure and acknowledgement during the meeting. Your company will be provided a table on Monday and Tuesday in the meeting room to be used for promotional items or a tabletop display and the opportunity for the representative to present a brief, verbal introduction to your products and services. Also included in this level is registration for one individual to attend all meeting functions (lodging not included). This sponsorship level is available to multiple companies. PRELIMINARY SCHEDULE Sunday: Registration and welcome reception & dinner Monday: Morning and afternoon sessions, afternoon tour/ outing, evening reception and casual dinner Tuesday: Morning sessions, afternoon golf tournament or tour/outing, evening reception and signature black tie dinner Wednesday: Departures $1000 Silver Sponsor (Cavalier Cup Golf Sponsor) Let s face it--golf is definitely one of the important factors for Southern s meeting attendees! This opportunity allows sponsorship of Tuesday s infamous Cavalier Cup Tournament. Included in this sponsorship is the exclusive opportunity to provide golf goodie bags to these avid golfers (towels, golf balls, shirts, etc. with your company logo). Also included in this sponsorship is the opportunity for one representative to play in Tuesday s tournament. This sponsorship is a great way for your product to be seen and used by devoted golfers, and for representatives to spend time with the South s most prominent hoteliers.
