Green Ribbons will be awarded to all dogs with qualifying scores. Excellent B dogs earning a Double Q will receive a special rosette while supply lasts after which they will receive a QQ pin. QQQ Pins will be awarded to Excellent B dogs earning a Triple Q. First place in each jump height class will receive a dog toy valued between $2 and $5. Dogs earning the MACH title will receive a special rosette and MACH bar. High Scoring Shetland Sheepdog award will be offered each day. Winner will receive a special rosette and dog toy valued at $10. Saturday: Highest Scoring Shetland Sheepdog from the Standard Regular Class. Sunday: Highest Scoring Shetland Sheepdog from the JWW Regular Class. High Scoring All American Dog will be awarded each day. Award will be determined by combining Standard and JWW Scores. Award sponsored by ABBA Dogs Judging Schedule Novice B/A Standard, JWW and FAST classes will run together by jump heights with division B running before division A. Excellent B/A Standard, JWW and FAST classes will run together by jump heights with division B running before division A. The preferred classes will run intermingled with the regular classes by height. Each class will be briefed separately. Lunch breaks will be at the Judge s discretion. A warm-up area, consisting of a regulation agility jump will be provided for all exhibitors. Check in will begin at 7:00 am on Saturday and Sunday. Armbands may be picked up at the score table each morning. Walk through will begin as soon as the Judge has approved the course. This will be at approximately 8:00 am for the Standard ring and 7:30 am in the JWW ring. Open and Novice and FAST: all heights will walk the course together prior to their class being judged. Excellent Standard and JWW will be split into three groups as follows: Group 1: 4/8/24/26 Group 2: 20 Group 3: 12/16The order will be walk run, walk run, etc. Each group will walk immediately before they run. Unless you have a conflict, i.e. showing in another ring or working, you MUST walk with your group.

It is the exhibitor s responsibility to ensure their dog is measured before their first run. Measurement of dogs will take place near the score table throughout the day when Kathie Leggett and Cindy Macklin are not otherwise occupied course building, working in the rings, running dogs or course building, etc.

4 Course Familiarization/Warm-ups Handlers in all classes are permitted to walk the course, without a dog, prior to the start of a class. A warm-up area, consisting of a regulation agility jump, shall be provided for all exhibitors. Notice to Exhibitors Running orders will be determined by random draw. Handlers with more than one dog in a class will have those dogs separated as much as possible. If a dog and/or handler are dismissed, regardless of the reason, there will be NO refund of entry fees. No entry fee will be refunded if the trial cannot open or be completed by reason of riots, civil disturbances, fire an act of God, public emergency, act of a public enemy, or any other cause beyond the control of the organizing committee. Entry fees will not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused or barred from competition by action of the Trial Committee. 50% refund for bitches in season after the closing date and up to the Friday before the event. Exhibitors are responsible for complete, accurate, and legible information on their entry forms. Illegible or incomplete entries cannot be entered in the trial. It is expressly understood that exhibitors alone are responsible for the behavior of their dogs and/or children. Any exhibitor whose dogs and/or children create unnecessary disturbances ore repeatedly engage in unsafe or disruptive behavior may, at the discretion of the Trial Committee, be asked to leave the trial site. In such case, no refund of any fees paid will be made. All dogs must be on leash at all times except when in the ring or when in the designated agility warm-up area. Exhibitors are responsible for being at the ring gate when it is their turn to run. Please be courteous and pick up after your dog. Exhibitors while competing must wear proper, toe enclosed, footwear. Dogs under six months of age are prohibited at AKC Agility Trials Exhibitors should follow their veterinarians recommendations to assure their dogs are free of internal and external parasites, any communicable diseases, and have appropriate vaccinations. The State of California requires Rabies vaccine. Failure to follow the instructions of the Show Committee or their Agent will result in a Bench Committee Hearing. Unsportsmanlike conduct will result in a Bench Committee Hearing.

The agility trials scheduled to be held on March 26 th & 27 th outside on grass at the Dixon Fairgrounds have been moved. The new site is Leone Equestrians Inc. the rings will be under cover on dirt. The multi day search for a new site ended thanks to a lead given to Lorie by Meg Azevedo. Now Lorie and the Show Committee can sleep again and not respond to the sound of rain with uncontrollable tremors, tears and thoughts of dogs and handlers injured by running agility through puddles of standing water, shavings and mud. The change of site was necessitated by conditions at the Dixon Fairgrounds. At this time, and with more rain to arrive this week, the grounds are not in usable condition. The club has struggled with the grievous decision of either cancelling the event or moving to a new location. We hope everyone entered can join us at the new location. Because the change in surface and location is due to a cause beyond the control of the organizing committee no refunds will be given to those who cannot attend the event at the new site. General exhibitor set up time will be 7 pm on Friday night. Those on the set up list may begin arriving at 6 pm. Please, please, please, for favor DO NOT ATTEMPT TO SET UP BEFORE THE SCHEDULED TIME. There will be limited crating space under the covered arena, most of which, will be reserved for critical workers and show committee members. Plan to bring your own canopy for crating in a grass paddock or to work out of your vehicle. RVs: For those who have pre-paid camping at the Dixon Fairgrounds you will receive a refund check. RVs are welcome at the new site. Power is available. Not sure about sewer and/or water. RVs are normally parked in an area that, big surprise, is currently flooded. RVs will be re-staged in and around the barn areas. Look for me when you arrive. RV cost is $55 per night. Make your check payable to: Leone Equestrians Inc. Remember to pick up after your dog and remain respectful of the property. We hope the weekend will be a success for exhibitors, the club and Leone Equestrians Inc. so that perhaps a new winter site is available for dog events. On tables near the main score area you will find: exhibitor maps in the black boxes, scores posted in the notebooks and armband labels. In Kits Korner located at the main score table look for: ribbons from the February Puli Club agility event and tickets for the raffle. Please join us in cheering on the All American Dogs at the first anniversary of participation in AKC agility. In celebration the High Scoring All American Dog each day will receive an award sponsored by ABBA Dogs. The name of the winning dog will be posted at the main score table at the end of each day.

6 Enter Here, Parking, Unloading, RVs Plan to enter from the Jackson Rd. side of the property. There are two black sign near the entrance gate that sit back a ways from the road. We will get a sign or balloons to mark the entrance. Unloading area - you may drive near the arena to unload. You MUST plan to unload then move your vehicle before setting up your crating area. No exceptions to this rule. Parking - very limited parking near the arena. This will be reserved for: Judges, course builders, crew chiefs, score table, show committee, timer czar, equipment manager, and the two exhibitors with handicap parking who have already contacted me. All other vehicles may park in the stabling area on gravel or in one of the outdoor arena. Rudy promises you will not get stuck. RVs - Parking will be in and around the barn areas on gravel. With long cords it will be possible to draw power from the barn areas. Plan for lots of mud between your RV and the main arena and a bit of a walk. You may want a hotel instead. Make your check payable to Loene Equestrians, Inc. Cost is $55 per night. Crating, Chairs, Set-Up, Break Down Chairs - if anyone has an extra chair that can be used in the ring for scribes, timers etc. you will receive 10 extra worker raffle tickets. Crating - limited crating inside the arena. After the show committee, course builders, crew chiefs, timer czar, and equipment manager set up their crating spaces the remaining area will be open to exhibitors. Plan to conserve space. X-pens only for multiple dogs. Crating will be very tight inside the arena. Bring stacking crates if possible.there is a grass area outside available for crating, bring a canopy. Parking may be a "distance" from the arena. If you plan to work out of your vehicle it may be a 5 minute walk to your vehicle. Friday Set Up - The agility equipment trailer will need to be staged outside the main arena so that we have crating inside the arena. We need lots of HELP unloading the equipment and setting up the orange fencing. If anyone is in the area at 5:30 on Friday please, por favor, come help. Remember back in the early days of agility when to train our dogs everyone had to help the trainer unload and set up the equipment then pack everything up each day? Such warm memories of camaraderie among agility enthusiasts! I m Hungry and Thirsty The kitchen will be open each day from 7 am 3 pm. Breakfast and lunch items will be available for purchase. Each morning from 7 am 8 am the club will buy your coffee. Order at the onsite kitchen. Awards, Worker Raffle The scores will be posted near the main score table. Ribbons and First Place awards can be picked up once the judges have reviewed the scores. The awards and worker raffle area will be next to each other in the patio area.
