First place in each class will receive a dog toy valued at $2-$5. Green Ribbons will be awarded to all dogs with qualifying scores. Rosettes will be awarded to Excellent B dogs earning a Double Q. QQQ Pins will be awarded to Excellent B dogs earning a Triple Q. Novice A entrants will receive a special gift at check in. Judging Schedule Novice B/A Standard, JWW and FAST classes will run together by jump heights with division B running before division A. Excellent B/A Standard, JWW and FAST classes will run together by jump heights with division B running before division A. The preferred classes will run intermingled with the regular classes by height. Each class will be briefed separately. Lunch breaks will be at the Judge s discretion. A warm-up area, consisting of a regulation agility jump will be provided for all exhibitors. Check in will begin at 6:30 am each morning. morning. This will be at approximately 7:30 am in the Standard ring and 7:00 am in the JWW ring. Open and Novice and FAST: all heights will walk the course together prior to their class being judged. Excellent Standard and JWW will be split into four groups as follows: Red Group: 20 Blue Group: 4/8/24/26 Green Group: 12 Yellow Group: 16 The order will be walk run, walk run, etc. Unless you have a conflict, i.e. showing in another ring or working, you MUST walk with your group.

It is the exhibitor s responsibility to ensure their dog is measured before their first run. Measurement of dogs will take place near the score table each day for 10 minutes at the top of each hour. If you need to be measured raise the flag. Cindy Macklin will measure. Set Ups No exhibitor set ups in / under the covered arena before 3 pm on Friday unless you are part of the set up crew. Class Information and Obstacles Owners are responsible for entering the proper class. Minimum order is $10. Obstacles will conform to the current edition of the AKC Regulations for Agility Trials. Course Familiarization/Warm-ups Handlers in all classes are permitted to walk the course, without a dog, prior to the start of a class. The walk through is restricted to handlers entered in that class. A warm-up area, consisting of a regulation agility jump, shall be provided for all exhibitors.

4 Move-Up Regulations Dogs may be moved up to a higher class at the request of the owner, as a result of qualifying for an agility title, provided that the request is received in writing by the Trial Secretary, no later than 6 pm on the Monday preceding the event. Sunday move ups will be allowed provided that the request is received in writing by the Trial Secretary, at the show site, no later than 15 minutes after the last dog has crossed the finish line on Saturday. Notice to Exhibitors This event is open to all AKC registered dogs 15 months of age or older that are registered with the American Kennel Club or that have obtained AKC ILP / PAL numbers or are listed in the AKC Canine Partners Program, except bitches in season, aggressive dogs, or dogs suffering from any deformity, injury or illness which may affect the dog s physical or mental performance. Mixed breeds and breeds not recognized by the AKC and dogs in the Miscellaneous Class with ILPs are not eligible to enter. Refer to Chapter 2 of the Registration and Discipline Rules for the listing of registrable breeds that may participate. Running orders will be determined by random draw. Handlers with more than one dog in a class will have those dogs separated as much as possible. If a dog and/or handler are dismissed, regardless of the reason, there will be NO refund of entry fees. No entry fee will be refunded if the trial cannot open or be completed by reason of riots, civil disturbances, fire an act of God, public emergency, act of a public enemy, or any other cause beyond the control of the organizing committee. Entry fees will not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused or barred from competition by action of the Trial Committee. 50% refund for bitches in season after the closing date and up to the Monday preceding the event. Exhibitors are responsible for complete, accurate, and legible information on their entry forms. Illegible or incomplete entries cannot be entered in the trial. It is expressly understood that exhibitors alone are responsible for the behavior of their dogs and/or children. Any exhibitor whose dogs and/or children create unnecessary disturbances ore repeatedly engage in unsafe or disruptive behavior may, at the discretion of the Trial Committee, be asked to leave the trial site. In such case, no refund of any fees paid will be made. All dogs must be on leash at all times except when in the ring or when in the designated agility warm-up area. Exhibitors are responsible for being at the ring gate when it is their turn to run. Please be courteous and pick up after your dog. Exhibitors while competing must wear proper, toe enclosed, footwear. Dogs under six months of age are prohibited at AKC Agility Trials Exhibitors should follow their veterinarians recommendations to assure their dogs are free of internal and external parasites, any communicable diseases, and have appropriate vaccinations. The State of California requires Rabi vaccine. Failure to follow the instructions of the Show Committee or their Agent will result in a Bench Committee Hearing.
