Ever since 2010, our little village has been an official partner for rent a village by xnet. The reason why we decided to let our village to organizers is easily explained the concept simply matches perfectly with our village and local conditions. Especially, in light of our upward tendencies in the sectors of culture and tourism, this is a wonderful opportunity to present Goldegg as an open and hospitable destination for events. BUSINESS MEETINGS Conventions, meetings, incentives, exhibitions or presentations are common to us however, not ordinary. With a total of 15 event facilities all of which equipped with state-of-the-art conference technology Goldegg castle and the newly established house Einklang ( Harmony ) in its direct proximity provide sufficient space for your successful event. 4 Your village. Your Goldegg. SALZBURG. AUSTRIA. The adorable village Goldegg is a small municipality of about citizens in the county of St. Johann im Pongau, located at Salzach River in Salzburg. Goldegg was founded in Being situated away from any transit traffic on a sunny high plateau 825 meters above sea level, tourism has established itself in Goldegg over the past years. Goldegg s probably best known monument is the castle located right at the entrance to the village. Initially built as castle back in the 14 th century, the castle Goldegg (or some even call it palace) today is the region s meeting place and cultural center. Apart from cultural association, painting academy and Pongau s local museum, it also accommodates a café with a terrace that offers a magnificent view onto Lake Goldegg. Village reception as well as welcome catering can both be set up in the beautiful castle courtyard. The castle provides a total of 12 rooms for conferences and seminars up to 655 people. Hold your meetings in an environment of art history such as knight s hall, Kemenaten hall or the roof s hall. Conference equipment is available and can additionally be rented. Furthermore, we can arrange for nice nights at the palace s different rooms and thus make your company party an unforgettable event! HOTEL SEEHOF The 4-star hotel s Restaurant Hecht offers the best of top level cuisine. Its beautiful premises for up to 100 people make a perfect environment for your dinner! In fair weather, its garden admits a maximum of 150 people for your evening event. GASTHOF (INN) BIERFÜHRER If you wish to experience a folksy and genuine night out, we recommend Gasthof / Inn Bierführer, located right in the heart of Goldegg. 7 Your localities. ALP. HOTEL. HALL. OBERFORSTHOF ALP In only 20 minutes, the shuttle bus will take you to the rustic mountain Restaurant Oberforsthof Alp in St. Johan im Pongau. Up to 250 people can be catered (seated) in the comfortable restaurant. Additionally there are three further rustic rooms for your event. HOTEL POST 4-star Hotel Post is located right at Lake Goldegg and its kitchen staff knows how to treat guests with regional specialties and excellent service. The premises mainly made from timber admit up to 150 people for comfortable nights out. HALL EINKLANG Einklang Hall is located right next to Goldegg castle and makes an ideal venue for any kind of larger-scale events. It admits a total of up to 300 people (incl. gallery) for meetings and seminars. The room can be separated for up to 60 people. Additionally, the hall makes an ideal venue for evening events (gala dinner for 248 people). The available stage provides ideal conditions for speakers, show acts, and bands. Integrating close neighboring villages such as Weng and St. Veith allows for accommodating up to 600 people in double rooms. However, short transfer of max. 10 minutes needs to be allowed for in this case.
