1 Royal Canadian Air Force Officers' Mess Facilities The RCAF Officers' Mess has a long tradition of hospitality and congeniality. Our lounges are spacious and well equipped. Our main lounge has a large capacity and features a beautiful, full-size functional fireplace, complete licensed bar and equipped with a stereo system. The Dining Room can accommodate up to 100 people seated for dinner. The Control Tower Lounge on the third floor has its own fully licensed bar and features a full-scale mockup of an Air Traffic Control Tower. All rooms can be customized to suit your particular needs. The mess office is open to accept bookings for functions (member, military or private) during routine office hours Monday to Friday. For further information, call the Mess Office at (613) ext. 22. The RCAF Officers Mess is a non-smoking building in accordance with the City of Ottawa By-laws.

2 The Astra Lounge The Astra Lounge is located on the main floor. It has a seating capacity of 109 people for dinner, 109 people for conferences (depending on set-up) or 140 people for cocktails (standing). It features a wonderfully traditional wood-burning fireplace and a spacious full-service bar. Most set-ups can be customized to suit your needs.

3 The Dining Room The Dining Room is located directly upstairs from the Main Entrance. It has a capacity to seat 100 people for dinner. It is an excellent facility for large, formal events such as Mess Dinners and banquets. Washroom facilities are located outside of the Dining Room entrance.

4 The Control Tower /Annex Located on the top floor of the building, the Control Tower/Annex features a limited bar and a full-scale replica of an Air Traffic Control Tower. Take a look through the Tower window and view various aircraft that the Royal Canadian Air Force has operated in the past and present. This room is very popular for meetings and gatherings of military groups. Washroom facilities are located outside the entrance on the same floor. For smaller gatherings, the Control Tower Annex is an ideal space for a good price!

(Seating capacity is approximately 50 people.) As well there is a full- size snooker table and dartboard available. This Lounge features a gas fireplace and a full-service bar. Washroom facilities are located just outside the lounge entrance.
