3 Wednesday, December 4 Itinerary and Important Information for State Trumbauer :10 pm Dress rehearsal with audience: Amelia the Brave please come watch! Thursday, December 5 8:00 am Students bring luggage to theater and put it on floor in front of stage. 9:00 am Final Dress Rehearsal for Amelia the Brave 10:00 am Tech Class and Cast load truck. 11:20 am Buses arrive. Students come down to theater, get their belongings and load up on busses. BE SURE YOUR CHILD HAS A $20 BILL TO GIVE MS. UTZ ON THE BUS. This $20 is included in the total amount of money recommended to bring on the trip (see below). 1:00 pm Stop for Eastdale Mall in Montgomery Atlanta Highway Montgomery, AL *cast and crew are not allowed to ice skate* 3:30 pm Re-board buses for Troy. 4:30 pm Drop off a couple of Troy University for auditions. Then drive to hotel and check in. Students are given room assignments and keys. They are to unload their things into their rooms and get settled. 5:30 pm Board buses. Go to The Pines, a local restaurant, to eat a dinner buffet. 7:00 pm Re-board buses and go back to Troy University for tech run through. 8:00 pm Return to hotel and go over last minute details for Friday 8:30 pm Students are to go to their rooms and shower, work on IEs, etc. Students needing to rehearse their duets may briefly do so with SJ and then must go back to their assigned rooms.

4 9:00 pm Chaperones begin taping doors. Students will be in their rooms and will not leave until they are let out by a chaperone. Students breaking this rule may be sent home at the parent s expense. Please consult the Travel Rules in the Theatre Handbook for appropriate behavior. 9:30 pm Lights out. There will be NO rowdy behavior. Students must get their rest. Failure to comply may result in students being sent home. Friday, December 6 7:00 am Wake up call. Students need to shower, get ready for the day, and eat breakfast at the hotel a free continental breakfast will be provided each day. 8:15 am Load buses. 8:30 am Buses depart for Troy University campus 8:45 am Arrive at Troy campus. Students should locate their rooms for IEs. 9:00 am IEs begin and will be held throughout the day. Students are encouraged to watch IEs, support their friends, and watch One Act and Studio plays from other schools. Lunch and dinner on campus 6:00 pm Load-in for SPHS One Act. TBA All students meet at the Theatre. 9:00 pm SPHS Performs Amelia the Brave! 10:30 pm Load buses to return to hotel. 11:00 pm Chaperones begin taping doors. Students need to shower, get ready for the day, and eat breakfast at the hotel a free continental breakfast will be provided each day. 8:15 am Load buses. 8:30 am Busses depart for Troy campus 8:45 am Arrive at Troy campus. 7 FOOD We will be mostly eating in the food court at Troy. To save money, student should consider bringing breakfast bars or other nonperishable items to eat for a quick snack. They can also bring snacks like packs of crackers to tide them over through the day. The hotel has a free Complimentary Daybreak Breakfast which includes freshly brewed coffee, tea, juice, fresh fruit, cereal, instant oatmeal and assorted bagels, muffins or pastries and occasionally waffles!
