Day 2 (12/4/18) ARRIVAL IN ZAGREB Youll arrive in Zagreb at a.m and will be met & greeted by our local representative. Then, a relaxing drive will bring us to Maribor in Slovenia. Its one of the most beautiful city in the city and attracted million visitors yearly. Enjoy your time here where well having our lunch. Then, on the way back to Zagreb, well stop at Kozjansko Park. It is one of the oldest and largest protected area in Slovenia. It represents a mosaic of the pre -Alpine Posavje Mountain Range, hills, and plains along the River Scotla. Then, embark on an off-the-beaten track discovery of the Balkans. The capital cit y of Zagreb is your springboard to a fascinating journey through what was once a troubled region and is today a land of diverse cultures and traditions which you will have a unique opportunity to enjoy with newfound friends. Hotel: GARDEN HOTEL ZAGREB Day 3 (13/4/18) EXCURSION TO PLITVICE (135km, 2 hours) This morning we travel to National Park of Plitvice. The tranquil turquoise, emerald and grey waters of Plitvice's multitude of lakes and waterfalls are explored today on a walking tour with a Local Specialist. Amble along the wooden pathways suspended over the prist ine natural landscapes, admiring the lush green vegetation and the abundant birdlife that find sanctuary in this UNESCO World Heritage. We return to Zagreb for another night in the capitalal cit y. Day 4 (14/4/18) ZAGREB SARAJEVO (402km, 5 hours) East meets west today as we travel south from Croatia into the dramatic landscapes of Bosnia and Herzegovina to its fascinating capital city, Sarajevo. Its rich religious and multicultural heritage that spans centuries has earned it the n ickname, the Jerusalem of Europe, reflected in its beautiful synagogues, mosques, and Orthodox and Catholic Churches. Join a Local Specialist for a guided walking tour of the city's old town, past the largest mosque in the Balkans, the Eternal Flame and the Sarajevo Roses that are dotted across the city as a stark reminder of the turmoil Sarajevo endured just a few decades ago. This evening, enjoy a sumptuous dinner at one of the Halal outlet in the city. Hotel: HOTEL BRISTOL SARAJEVO Day 5 (15/4/18) SARAJEVO SIGHTSEEING & AT LEISURE Burrowing into the depths below Sarajevo, we join a Local Specialist for an insider tour of a Bosnian war tunnel that, during the siege in the 1990s, linked neighbourhoods and allowed food, war supplies and humanitarian aid to come into the city, and people to get out. Hear war -time tales of bravery and tragedy before spending the rest of the day exploring the city on your terms. Ramble along Copper Street seeking treasures or drink from the fountain of Sebilj to secure you r return to Sarajevo.

2 Day 6 (16/4/18) SARAJEVO MOSTAR (129km, 2 hrs 15 mins) DUBROVNIK (146km, 3 hrs) We journey to the secluded coves and dramatic cliffs of the Dalmatian coast, that for centuries have attracted famous artists, actors and aristocrats. En route to Dubrovnik, the 'Pearl of the Adriatic', we stop to see the magnificent bridge at Mostar, named after the bridge keepers who in medieval times guarded the 'Stari Most' over the Neretva River. The 16th century bridge, built by Sinan the great Ottoman architect, was destroyed during the war and has been rebuilt using the same centuries-old tradit ions. Enjoy some free time to explore the town before continuing to the ancient city of Dubrovnik. Hotel: APARTMENTS AMORET Day 7 (17/4/18) DUBROVNIK SIGHTSEEING & AT LEISURE Follow the solid cit y walls and meander through the marble streets of this stunning medieval cit y, jo ining an unforgettable sightseeing walking tour of the main sights of Dubrovnik with a Local Specialist. Admire the Rector's Palace, Onofrio's Fountain and the Franciscan and Dominican monasteries before travelling to Osojnik to meet the Muhoberac family for a special Be My Guest traditional meal in the village their ancestors have lived in for over 500 years. Day 8 (18/4/18) DUBROVNIK - KOTOR (92km, 2 hours) BUDVA (22km, 35mins) PODGORICA (63km, 1 hour) Dazzling natural surrounds are ours to enjoy today as we travel to the Republic of Montenegro where we will meet a Local Specialist and head towards the mouth of the Bay of Kotor, the longest and deepest fjord in Southern Europe. Celebrate centuries of history in the charming town of Kotor, with its Venetian palaces and medieval churches. After that, well visit Budva, another famous tourist spot in the country. In the late afternoon, well continue our journey to Podgorica, the capital city of Montenegroo Republic. Hotel: EVROPA Day 9 (19/4/18) PODGORICA SKHODER (70km, 1 hour 10 mins) We cross to Albania to visit Skhoder, which according to Lonely Planet is one of the most ancient city in Balkan region. Youll be shown Rozafa Castle, which set on a rocky hill approximately 130 meters above sea level, this imposing fortresshas beautiful views of Shkodër and its surrounding areas. It was built by the Illyrians and is more than 1,000 years old, Mesi Bridge, built in the 18th century by Kara Mahmud Bushati, the local Ottoman pasha, this bridge is often referred to as the Lord of the Rings Bridge. It is one of the longest Ottoman bridges in the area and spans the Kir River, and the Communist Jail. During Albanias Communist era ( ), numerous prisons and internment camps were created throughout the country to confine individuals considered to be a threat to the regime. Like their counterparts elsewhere in the country, most of the prisoners in Shkoders so-called Communist Jail were primarily Catholic priests and clergy, Muslim imams, academics and political prisoners. In total, it is estimated that 5,548 individuals were executed in the country during this time. Hotel: THE RED BRICKS Day 10 (20/4/18) SKHODER LAKE KOMAN (58km, 1 hr 45 mins) PRIZREN (218km, 4 hrs) Well depart in the morning and heading east towards Lake Koman, said to be one of the most beautiful tourist attraction in Balkan region. Well spend about 2 hours here before well continue our journey and enter Kosova, which formerly is the autonomous region of Serbia Republic. Kosova is one of the youngest country in the world, which declared its independence in February Well visit Prizren, a multicultural historic city. Well visit Shadervan Quarter and Siann Pasha Mosque, admire or buy typical leatherworks and walk over the Old Stone Bridge or uphill up to the fortress which dominates the city.dinner is planned in a traditional restaurant. 3 Day 11 (21/4/18) PRIZREN PRISTINA (85km, 1 hr 30 mins) SKOPJE (93km, 1 hr 45 mins) After breakfast, well leave Prizren and a short drive will bring us to Pristina, the capital of Kosova. You will enjoy a walking tour in this historic city - Museum of Kosovo, Old Bazaar, Stone Mosque, Jashar Pasha Mosque, Clock Tower, Sultan Mehmet Fatih - Big Mosque and Hamam (Turkish public bath) In the mid afternoon, well leave the city and drive to Skopje, the capital city of Republic Macedonia where well spent our final night in Balkan. Upon arrival, a friendly local guide is waiting to help you find the best parts of their city to show you. Your guide will recommend walking to many sights, so as not to miss the little details in between. Start at the ancient Kale Fortress; from its stone walls youll get great views to the city below. Wander across the famous Stone Bridge and along Gold Street in the Turkish Bazaar. Be sure to visit the 15 th century Daut Pasin Aman, once the largest Turkish bathhouse in the Balkans, and now home to National Gallery.
