1 15 Day Taste of Europe Tour Itinerary ACCOMMODATION: Rome: IH Hotels Roma Z3 or similar Florence: Michelangelo Venice Hotel or similar Venice: Albatros or similar DAY 1 - ROME Welcome to Rome! Upon arrival, a private transfer will be provided. Your driver will be waiting for you at arrival hall to take you to your hotel and provide all the local information of the area you will be staying at and how to get around to the historic city centre. (Normal Check in Time is 3:00pm) In the evening, a transfer will be provided to Trastevere district; a vibrant district for you to explore the magical city. You will have the chance to try out some typical Italian dinner (own expense) before returning to the hotel. DAY 2 - ROME CITY TOUR (B) Experience some of the richest history in the world today with a scenic tour of the city, which will be a great introduction to the The Eternal City. We will visit the tiny state of the Vatican. The Vatican City is a principal centre of Christianity in the world. You will be able to visit the famous St Peter's Basilica, Sistine Chapel and Vatican Museums (own expense). And we have also included admission to the incredible ruins of the Roman Coliseum (admission included) the principal symbol of Rome. This impressive construction dates back 2000 years and will transport us in time so that we can learn about ancient society in the Roman Empire. In the evening, a transfer service will be provided to Via Cavour area, here you will find restaurants serving different cuisines (own expense). Return to hotel around 9pm. Overnight: Rome DAY 3 - ROME TO FLORENCE (B) A beautiful scenic drive in the morning to Florence. Upon arrival, you will visit the most famous lookouts for a stunning view of Florence - the Piazzale Michelangelo. Then followed by a city tour in Florence before Lunch. In the evening, enjoy an orientation tour with a local expert and walk through the historic centre and attractions including the Duomo, Piazza della Signoria and Ponte Vecchio. You will have some free time to explore on you own and have dinner (own expense) at your favorite restaurant.

3 Overnight: Florence DAY 4 - FLORENCE TO VENICE (B) After breakfast, we enjoy stunning mountain landscapes whilst crossing the Apennine Mountains to Venice. Arriving in Venice prepare to be awestruck this afternoon with an incredible adventure through the beautiful city canals on a local water bus (Vaporetto). A comprehensive tour with a local guide to see the architectural marvels of Plaza de San Marcos and enter the marvellous Basilica (admission included) and enjoy a demonstration of Murano crystal blowing at the Murano glass factory. Relax this afternoon to explore the city on your own. You will have the chance to choose the type of restaurant that you prefer in the Mestre area (own expense). Overnight: Venice Optional On Day 4: Venice -Gondola Ride EUR35 per person Embark on a quintessential Venetian experience with serenaded gondola ride through the famed canals of Venice. A musician and a singer will play and sing for you the most important songs of the Venetian and Italian Tradition. The prefect opportunity for romance or an unforgettable family experience. Duration: 40 mins Minimum: 6 people in a boat ride DAY 5 - VENICE (B) After breakfast, free as leisure to explore on your own. A hilltop fortress stands guard over the walled medieval Old Town, where you'll find small piazzas, elegant palazzos, lively cafés and shops. DAY 10 - CRUISING (B, L, D) Whether you seek an adrenaline rush or total tranquillity, our ships have it all. Try rock climbing and experience whimsical aerial shows that take place high above. Melt away land-based stress with a spa massage, build a scrapbook of memories or simply relax by the side of the pool. DAY 11 - SANTORINI (B, L, D) No other Greek island is more famous for its romantic setting, mythic beauty and volcanic scenery. Santorini enchants with a deep blue bay, high cliffs, black and red sand beaches, and white-washed towns perched on the crater rim.
