4 SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACTS An abstract should consist the title, full names of authors, names and address of their institutions, the of responding author. Registration of paper title and Abstract (not exceeding 350 words) in English (obligatory) and BiH languages (optional), written in Windows Word, font Times New Roman, size 12 pt, should be submitted to the organizer no later than February 21 st on Instruction for abstract writing is available at Plenary lectures will be provided by the organizers upon direct invitation to the respective authors. All other participants submit papers independently. Each abstract will be peer reviewed. Once accepted, notification will be provided by to the presenting author. PRESENTATION OF PAPERS Authors are able to choose the art of presenting: oral or poster. However, the Organizers retain the right to decide on the number of oral presentation and inform the authors on time. PPT presentations should be prepared in English. Oral presentations can be delivered in English or BiH languages. Posters (dimensions, 60 x 90 cm) should be prepared in English. SUBMISSION OF FULL PAPERS All authors interested to publish in Agro-knowledge Journal should submit full papers no later than the date of beginning of Symposium. Papers should be written in accordance with the Instructions for writing papers for Agro-knowledge Journal available at SYMPOSIUM AGENDA Tuesday, March 25 th Arrival and registration of participants Wednesday, March 26 th OPENING CEREMONY (10:00 a.m.) PLENARY SESSION (11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.) - Ralf-Udo Ehlers, Visiting Professor at University of Ghent, Belgium. His scientific interests are the biology of entomopathogenic nematodes (Heterorhabditiae and Steinernematidae) and their bacterial symbionts and the use of microbial antagonists in biological control of invertebrate pests and plant diseases. Major focus of his activities is the development of liquid culture technology for mass production of biocontrol agents and the development of IPM systems. - Udovč Andrej, Professor, Biotechnical Faculty, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. He is professor of agricultural economics and Head Chair for Agricultural economics, rural sociology and rural development at Biotechnical Faculty, University of Ljubljana. His research interests are agricultural and environmental economics and rural development. - Daniel Falta, Professor, Faculty of Agronomy, Mendel University in Brno, Czech Republic. Hi is vice-dean at Faculty of Agronomy, Mendel University in Brno. His scientific interests are cattle husbandry and production sistems in farm animal husbandry. Major focus of his research is influence of ecological factors of cows production. The registration fee includes: Participation at Symposium, Symposium Book of abstracts, Agro-knowledge Journal, Vol. 14, (No. 1-4), GALA DINNER and Excursions organized during Symposium. 6 IMPORTANT DATES Submission of Abstracts Note on acceptance of the Abstracts Expression of interest for companies and institutions Symposium Programme will be available at Arrival and registration of participants Opening of Symposium Symposium closing USEFUL INFORMATION Trebinje is situated in the South of Republic of Srpska, Bosnia and, with a good road connection to Dubrovnik, Sarajevo, Herceg-Novi, Kotor and Podgorica. Trebinje is located 30 minutes drive from the airport Dubrovnik (Croatia) and 45 minutes drive from the airport Tivat (Montenegro). For all the participants who arrive at one of these airports free transportation will be provided to Trebinje at the expense of the organizers. The participants are required to inform the organizer the exact time of the arrival at the airport by March 20 th of In the event of unforeseen circumstances and untimely notice of arrival, the participants can take a taxi or use car rental services at the airport. Taxi return fares from Dubrovnik to Trebinje and back is about 50, and from Tivat to Trebinje, about 60. Car rental services at the airport are about 70 per day plus travel expenses.
