Our Safety, Quality and Technical standards keep us among the leading ship repair yards in the world. ASTANDER S high specialization in upgradings and conversions makes us a major candidate in the market for complex conversion projects. Location: Located at the southern end of the Port of Santander, on the north coast of Spain. This is an area (Bilbao-Santander-Gijón) that has always been linked to the marine industry. Hence we can guarantee the widest range of support services and resources from local specialized workshops and suppliers. ASTANDER deals successfully with both specialized and urgent requirements, even the most unexpected. 9 Blasting & Painting Services Hull blasting: Slurry (wet gritblasting), prevents dust clouds and allows nonstop blasting periods under adverse weather conditions.
