Local ferries (many landing points along the Bay) will 'ferry' you regularly back and forth between San Antonio Bay and San Antonio centre; and there's no cooler way to start your evening out than by 'cruising' into San Antonio harbour! Whilst the Bay is quieter than San Antonio Town's West End, San Antonio Bay offers great bars, clubs, chill out venues and good restaurants be it in a romantic sunset bar with a cool cocktail, a club with

2 the latest sounds or one of many excellent restaurants. You can chill out with the island's original trance scene in the fantastically decorated Kumharas (now that's an ambient sunset!). Real clubbing can be enjoyed to the max in Summum, or simply catch a taxi (cheap if shared) or the Disco Bus into San Antonio Centre only 2km away. Climate and weather Temperatures will vary during your Cruise according to which country you are in. Average temperatures in June will range between 23 degrees to 35 degrees celsius. Daily Itinerary Sample Itinerary This is a provisional itinerary aiming to give you an idea of what your holiday will look like. There will be some elements which will change: DAY 1 Morning - Arrival to Milan Airport and transfer to Cruise-ship in Genoa (2.5 hours away) for those on standard Dance Holidays flights. From 1pm - Check in for Cruise Ship. Afternoon - Cruise Ship departs from Genoa at 5pm. Evening - Overview of the week and Welcome Drink; Dinner and Cruise Cabaret Show DAY 2 Morning - Line Dance Workshop Afternoon - Arrival in Naples at 1pm. Lunch and free time to visit Naples. Your Teachers We are pleased to offer a truly first class teaching and entertainment team comprised of the choreographers and teachers of Masters in Line (Rob Fowler, Rachael McEnaney and Paul McAdam) plus dj to be confirmed. Rob Fowler is a family man, devoted to wife Michelle and daughter Deanne. Rob came across line dancing just by chance, whilst on holiday at Butlin's in Wales, back in 1992, where he saw this dancing being taught and thought "I can do that" and never looked back. He has travelled to many different countries since that day including, USA, Canada, Holland, Sweden, Finland, Norway, France, Germany and South Africa, besides the length and breadth of Great Britain. He runs his own club, each week, always has time for his club members and has produced many successful students at competition level, including several World Champions. With this commitment and dedication to line dancing he has achieved a career envied by most other line dancers and has become the UK's most sought after instructor, demonstrator and choreographer. Rob has also produced video's and instruction cassettes to help people with their dancing and has continued to choreograph successful dances one after the other. The most famous being "The Beast". Despite success in competitions, numerous awards (including Personality of the Year, Instructor of the Year, Choreographer of the Year) Rob is always happy to pass on his skills to others, that's why he is a 'Peoples' Champion. Rachael McEnaney has, through her love of dance, discovered and trained in many different forms of dance which to date include ballet, tap, modern, jazz, disco, ballroom, latin, salsa, west coast swing, hip hop, and of course Line Dancing. She began teaching Line Dance in York, England at the young age of 15. With an ambition to dance and travel, she began competing with her first competition at the European Championships in April 1999 returning the following year as a Superstar. Having won many British and European titles she also took home a Double World title as the Grand Classic and Showcase Line Dance Champion and was the first European female to qualify for the Superstar Division which is the highest competitive level in UCWDC Line Dance, she returned from UCWDC Worlds 2001 in Edmonton, Alberta Canada as the Female Superstar World Champion, a most memorable event. In 2002, Rachael joined forces with Pedro, Rob and Paul to form the company known as Masters In Line. Looking forward to the years ahead Rachael will continue to tour the UK as well as Australia, Asia, Europe and The United States, where she hopes to see you on a dance floor soon! Paul McAdam is going places...all the time. His life on the hetic line dance circuit is a far cry from County Durham where he spent his childhood. One day, his Auntie Maureen encouraged him to go to a line dance class with his younger brother, Ben, and it's all been uphill ever since. Rob Fowler discovered him dancing at a competition event in 1997 and saw the raw talent. "At the start, I had very little idea what I was doing. Two things come to mind. Rob would say, 'Trust me' and 'Listen'. I did both and in six months I'd gone from the basics to fairly advanced stuff." Paul joined Rob's dance team and moved up the ranks. As well as working on advanced routines, developing his exciting, jazzy dance style, Paul is developing his choreography skills. Paul is very clear about the problem in choreography: "It's the beginning. If you don't make the beginning interesting you've lost people straightaway so I concentrate on the few first counts." Paul has topped the Junior Teen Advanced and Junior Teen Showcase divisions. Nevertheless, Paul sees himself as an all rounder and is determined to master all aspects of line dance. "I'm starting to take my judging certificates - I want to work at all the big events. I'm also really interested in Swing dancing. Rachael McEnaney and I are working on that together and we both think that West Coast Swing is going take off in the UK." Rob Fowler has already introduced swing workshop as a novelty item at his events. Paul's is a remarkable story and one that will continue to develop, as he becomes one of the most important personalities on line dance scene. You could not hope to meet a more engaging, humourous young man. Who knows what will happen next when the Fowler-McAdam machine moves into top gear!

4 Food and Meals All meals on board are included. Enjoy the zest of flavours and rich colours of the Mediterranean at the on board Italian Restaurants. Taste the signature pasta dishes, the seafaring favourites of shrimp cocktail, smoked salmon, lobster or filet mignon and prime rib grilled to perfection. Breakfast and lunch can either be taken outside in the sun on the Pool Deck or inside in the Dining Room. Dinner is taken in the Dining Room. Optional Extras Ship organized Excursions: On arrival you will be given a full programme of Optional Extra Shore Excursions organized by the Ship. Our customer care team are happy to price you a flight from any airport and you can also buy the holidays without a flight and make your own way there. If you live outside of the UK you can travel directly to the resort. There could be substantial "Early Bird" prices available so please see our special offers page on our website or ring us to find out what these are. Transfers: We are normally able to meet you at the airport and take you by private transfer at no additional charge to your hotel. Sometimes you may have to wait a short while at the airport to connect with this transfer. Occasionally depending on your arrival time there may not be a group transfer available and we may ask you to make your own way to the hotel by taxi or public transport. In these circumstances we would give you easy to follow instructions. Making you own way to the hotel for ground only package If you are buying your own flights either to one of the Milan Airports (Malpensa, Bergamo or Linate) or to Genoa Airport and making your own way to the ship docked in Genoa, please see the information below. Please note the Ship will depart Genoa around 4pm. Check in on board is from 1pm. You should arrive at Genoa Port Terminal around 12pm: Train travel Milano Centrale Train Station/Genoa Piazza Principe Train Station: Direct trains between Milan and Genoa go about once every hour from about 7am until 10pm. The journey takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes and will cost you about 16 euros. (The return journey goes with about the same frequency and runs from about 6am to 9pm).

5 What to Expect in terms of Organisation On Arrival: You will receive a detailed itinerary and information on the local sights and other helpful tips. Club Dance Holidays Host: Your holiday tour host is there to make your holiday as enjoyable as possible. Club Dance Holidays Tour Hosts are a cut above your typical Holiday Rep with a lightness of touch that enables you to get the best out of your holiday without being in the least bit interfering. We make sure you get the best out of the destination even though you are there for a relatively short time and we do this through our local knowledge and our knowledge of dance. Club Dance Holidays Tour Hosts normally offer much more of themselves than you would expect including making sure your nights are sociable and fun often well into the small hours if that is your whim. During the daytime the level of participation and presence of Club Dance Holidays tour hosts varies according to the nature of each holiday and its destination. Overview of the Week and Welcome Drink: At the beginning of the week there is an Overview of the Week where your tour host will tell you about all details of your holiday. At the Overview of the Week you can buy your optional extras (see below). Also at the start of the week, Dance Holidays will invite you to be our guest to a drink. Free time: We encourage you to explore the local areas off shore and make use of the excellent Cruise Ship facilities. Your tour host will be on hand for any queries you may have about off shore excursions. Before Your Go Budgeting for your holiday: Your holiday is full board. For budgeting you will need to consider Optional Extra Shore Excursions, drinking socially and souvenirs. Health and Fitness: There are no particular health requirements for a dance holiday. However you should be able to dance for at least two hours a day in order to be able to enjoy the workshop/socials. Preganant women up to 28 weeks pregnant within the end of the cruise may cruise on production of a medical certificate stating they are fit to travel. Sunbathing and the effects of the sun: Passengers are advised to be very cautious with regards to sunburn. The sun can be extremely strong when cruising and can cause damage to your sking if care is not taken. Insurance, Visa and Passport Requirements: Refer to the brochure for full details. In brief, Insurance is a condition of booking. Visas may be required for non EU citizens. British nationals need a full passport to travel to Spain. Travel Documents: You receive these when you have paid for your holiday in full and we have received your airline tickets. In some cases the airlines do not release the tickets until five days before the departure date. We also confirm the address and phone number of the hotel and the emergency contact numbers. Neat casual wear is requested on board after 6pm. There will be two Gala nights when coctail dresses are appropriate for women and suits or jacket and tie for men.what to wear for the workshops/socials: We recommend that you bring comfortable leather sole shoes, dance trainers or cowboy boots for the classes and socials. Your shoes should be comfortable and supportive. Wear lightweight cotton socks to avoid sweaty and blistered feet! It is probable that you may get through quite a few clothes in the workshops and dancing at night (you can get quite hot!) so bring a variety of outfits. Wear comfortable loose clothing for the classes and the evenings. Some of you may wish to dress country and western style. At Your Destination Currency on Board: The currency on board is the euro. For your convenience there is a 'cashless' society onboard which means that you sign for your drinks and bar purchases. At the end of the Cruise an itemized bill may be settled with Visa, Mastercard or American Express credit cards. Passengers without credit cards must deposit a minimum of 150 cash per person with the cashier on day 1 of the Cruise. This amount must be replenished during the Cruise when expenses exceed the deposit. If all the deposit is not used then the balance will be returned with the bill. Limited amounts of European currencies/travellers cheques may be exchanged on board. Personal cheques and Eurocheques are not accepted. Ships and Services On Board: A selection of goods is available from the shops on board. There are hair and beauty salons, sauna and massage, gym, laundry and photographic services with prices published on board. Voltage: The current onboard the Melody Cruise Ship is 110V (twin flat USA standard pins required and available on board.) Valuables: Safety deposit boxes are available on board through Reception. We strongly recommend that you do not

6 travel with expensive jewellery or a large amount of cash - but should you do so please arrange adequate insurance cover. We suggest that you used credit cards and travellers cheques where possible. Tipping. You will find that how much you should tip depends on each country that you visit. It is generally less common in Spain, Italy and Tunisia than in Britain. There is no need to tip taxis but it is usual to leave a 5-10% tip at a restaurant if you are particularly pleased with your dinner/lunch. In France you will be expected to leave a 10% tip at restaurants. We feel our tour hosts work hard to give you an exceptional holiday and sometimes you may find that they add some special touches which are beyond the call of duty. If you agree with us, you might wish to show your appreciation by way of a tip. You can do this by putting money in an envelope on your own or by getting together with other guests. This evidently is entirely at your discretion. Making friends with the Locals and people not on the holiday: The dance classes and dance evening events in the hotel at night are exclusive to Dance Holidays clients. Generally, we discourage those who are not on the holiday from joining our activities and we ask for your discretion is this respect. By all means, outside of the itinerary, do mix with other holidaymakers staying in the hotel.
