20 Private charter New Queen of the Thames laid up for a function All of the trips featured in this brochure are charged per person & offer cost effective solutions to organising a boat trip with us, However... Should your group need something different to that already featured, such as a lunchtime or evening trip for use exclusively by your group, then we have an events team on hand to advise how to arrange a private charter on board one of our boats. Call our events team on Small boat private charter You can charter Windsor Regent for exclusive use for smaller groups that would normally use a 49 seater coach. Ideal for groups that don t want to share a vessel or want a longer trip, as our charter rates allow for up to 4 hours. Exclusive charter from 675 Medium boat private charter Lady Margaret Anne is an example of a medium sized boat and can accommodate 90 guests. Also suitable for formal lunches as she can seat about 40 guests at tables. Exclusive charter from 900 Large boat private charter For large events the New Queen of the Thames is an impressive choice. She is the largest boat on the Upper Thames, with a capacity of 180 passengers. This means that she can easily accommodate 3 coaches. Her capacity for a seated dinner is 68 - ideal for those presidential hand over dinners or even gala charity events. Moreover she is ideal for groups that have the luxury of a large membership that love boat trips, when you know that you will achieve high numbers for this years outings. With wide gateways, access is particularly good on this boat. Exclusive charter from 1200 Genuine steam boat charter Built in 1905, S.L. Streatley is a rare example of a genuine Victorian steam boat. She is available for exclusive charter to all lovers of the bygone age. Particularly suitable for clubs that specialize in outings with the emphasis on history and nostalgia. Also available for landmark events such as golden weddings or milestone birthdays. Exclusive charter from 1800 Genuine Victorian steam boat SL Streatley 18
21 Useful stuff For a comprehensive list of directions & maps to all of our landing stages, please visit our website if you can, these can be found at: In the meantime here are the addresses to our landing stages (post code for sat nav is in red). Windsor Coach Park Alma Road Windsor SL4 3HY Windsor Promenade Barry Avenue Windsor Berks SL4 1QX Whilst Windsor is good for access, with disabled parking nearby, there is no dropping off beside the embarkation point. Runnymede Boathouse Windsor Road Old Windsor SL4 2SG (sat nav will not recognise this postcode) Access at Runnymede is excellent - your vehicle can get very close to the boat, so passengers do not have far to walk. Windsor & Eton Brewery 1 Vansittart Estate, Windsor, SL4 1SE Marlow Higginsons Park Pound Lane, Marlow SL7 2AE Useful contacts: Windsor visitor information (01753) Maidenhead Ray Mead Road Maidenhead SL6 8NP There are a number of steps to negotiate as well as a narrow promenade, so disabled customers should assess the suitability carefully. Hampton Court Adjacent to Hampton Court Railway Station East Molesley KT8 9AE (south side of the river) There are a number of steps to negotiate. Therefore customers should assess the suitability carefully. Chertsey Chertsey Lock Thames Side Chertsey KT16 8LD Bekonscot Model Village Warwick Rd, Beaconsfield, HP9 2PL Savill Garden Wick Lane Englefield Green, TW20 0UU Disabled guests New access for all boats: As described on page 1, we now have some fully accessible boats with wheelchair lifts and disabled toilets. These two boats do need to be specifically booked (trips and 36). Full wheelchair access is possible. Lucy Fisher: Lucy Fisher also has very good access for most wheelchairs users, but no wheelchair accessible toilets. Main Fleet: It is often possible to accommodate guests with restricted mobility on our other vessels, however, due to their irregular layout, we ask that you contact us should your group have any special requirements, in order for us to advise you in the best possible way. We like to offer people with restricted mobility extra time and help to board the boat. On these boats we manually lift wheelchairs on board, down two shallow steps, so advance notice helps us plan for this. Electric wheelchairs and scooters are too heavy to lift on these boats. Most of these boats have a front cabin with excellent visibility for anyone unable to use the top deck. Whilst toilets are not accessible to wheelchairs, there are land based disabled toilets close to the landing stages at Windsor and Runnymede.
