3 2 Night Pre Cruise Program The city of London may seem an odd place to begin a wine cruise, but it can be argued that wine lovers are also known to love a variety of culture, art, cuisine, and overall the finer things in life. No city today better exemplifies this than London. After undergoing major reconstruction for the Queen s Diamond Jubilee and Olympics, London is now the most happening city in the world surpassing New York for culture and excitement. Our home for this 2 night pre cruise program is the Westbury Mayfair Hotel, located on London s famous Bond Street, revered throughout the world for its wealth of elegant stores, exclusive brands, designer fashion, luxury goods, fine jewels, art and antiques. Set in the heart of Mayfair, in London s popular West End and encompassed by many of the world s most outstanding hotels and restaurants, Bond Street is a landmark for all things sophisticated. You ll arrive independently into London and transfer on your own to the Westbury Mayfair Hotel. After a free afternoon, you will meet the group and guide in the hotel lobby. You ll see the iconic highlights of London during a brief tour of the city including the Tower of London, St. Paul s Cathedral, Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey and the River Thames. You ll then have the chance to experience London s famous pub life and sample ales during a pub crawl with a fish and chips supper. The following day is yours to explore on your own, before you are off for an evening at the theater. You ll first enjoy a wine paired dinner before seeing a Broadway styled show in one of London s world renowned theaters. Although the show has yet to be determined, Londoners and visitors from all over the world have enjoyed such shows as Wicked, The Lion King, Chicago and the most famous musical, Phantom of the Opera. In the morning, you ll enjoy a full English breakfast before checking out of your room and meeting the rest of the group in the hotel lobby.
