Meals: Dinner DAY 2, Wednesday - Amsterdam Canal Tour and Volendam This morning, board a glass-top boat for a delightful cruise of the winding canals for an upclose view of stately historic mansions, 16th-century gabled merchant houses, and charming churches with bell towers. This afternoon, enjoy a tour of traditional Holland that includes a visit to Volendam, a charming fishing village on the old Zuiderzee. Next, visit a cheese farm and see a historic windmill and clogmakers. Tonight, you may wish to participate in the optional dinner at a cozy Dutch restaurant followed by a walking tour with your guide to explore the narrow canals, bridges and lanes of the historical center including the notorious "Red Light" district. Optional: Amsterdam by Night with dinner (PM) DAY 3, Thursday - Brussels City Tour This morning, travel through Holland's open fields, criss-crossed with canals and windmills to reach Belgium. Arriving to the capital city of Brussels, enjoy a tour with guided views of the Atomium, Palace of Justice, and 17th-century Grand Place with its decorated guild houses. Stroll the city center to view the famous Mannekin Pis fountain. Afterward, continue to the city of Bruges, also known as the "Venice of the North", and home to some of Europe's best preserved medieval buildings. Tonight, dinner is in a local restaurant, Dinner DAY 4, Friday - Bruges City Tour This morning, enjoy a delightful orientation in Bruges with its charming squares and historic buildings. The tour takes you first to view the Lake of Love (Minnewater) and the Beguinage convent. Continue with a walking tour of the city's medieval district, where you will visit Our Lady's Church, which houses the famous Madonna statue by Michelangelo, the Market Square and Belfry, and the Town Hall Square with its Chapel of the Holy Blood. Later, depart Bruges for Paris where you will have the evening at leisure, or you can join the optional tour to discover the "City of Lights" with the illumination tour and dinner in a typical French bistro. View the Eiffel Tower, Cathedral of Notre Dame, Les Invalides (which houses Napoleon's Tomb), the Latin Quarter, and the lively Opera district.
