4 Introduction The Dominican Government, through the National Council of COMPETITIVENESS, makes available to all exporters a Catalog of Commercial Routes with information on the main ports, shipping companies, agents, logistics operators and airlines between the Dominican Republic and the Caribbean. This tool is designed with the objective of linking, informing and strengthening the commercial ties of the main actors in the country's logistics sector and thus promoting better conditions for exports to that market. Thanks to our geographical location and connectivity, the Dominican Republic is an extremely important port in the region, a position that places us on the map to become the largest logistics HUB in the Caribbean. This visual material shows in detail the transit times, the frequency of departure of the ships, the ports that it touches, the agents that handle it and the contacts of ports and airlines. This catalog was prepared within the framework of the Caribbean Export Promotion Board headed by the Administrative Ministry of the Presidency (MAPRE) and coordinated by the Dominican Republic Export and Investment Center (CEI-RD), and of which the National Export Bank (BANDEX), the National Council of Private Enterprise (CONEP), the Dominican Republic Industries Association (AIRD), the Dominican Agribusiness Board (JAD), the Dominican Association of Exporters (ADOEXPO) and the Dominican Port Authority (APORDOM) are part. This guide provides information of interest for the benefit of Dominican exporters, a visual document that shapes the connections that exist between the country and the Caribbean market. Provides access to global markets and generates trade and tourism. Forges links between developed and developing nations. Air transport is often the only method of connectivity with remote areas, which also helps us move cargo in less time, promoting competitiveness by allowing our products to access markets that otherwise would not arrive, and to comply with the supplier's requirements. 1
