For the kids we have what I believe a world class Bible School planned for the kids. There will many events for the younger and older ones throughout the week. Youth and children s events, soft ball games, and just time and space for families to connect with one another. The camp ground and programs are as good or better then they ever have been. I am glad for all that we have to offer, but the most important thing that we should come to camp for is to connect with God. Connecting is a significant part of the vision the Conference is trying to achieve. Connecting with family, church and God. We are trying to make sure that you have time and space to do these very important things. The vision God has laid on my heart for our conference can be lived out at camp in ways it can t be any other time of the year. Based on the foundation of forgiveness and connectionalisum; the North Michigan Conference is committed to Developing pastors and church leadership, Vitalizing every church and beginning a church Planting movement in Michigan. Let me encourage you once again to find ways to forgive, connect with one another and learn. Encourage each other with prayer, resources and ideas to vitalize one another, a sister church or plant a new one. Come ready to receive all God has planned for you and to be a vessel through which He can bless others. His best blessing on all of you, Superintendent Thomas M. Doherty

This year at Family Camp I am looking for 5 churches to coordinate during camp to provide supper for the young adults on the campground. All your church will have to do is get a host campsite and coordinate the food for young adults plus those from your church. We are looking to create a time of hospitality and connection. WORSHIP CJ MAURER I have been married for seven years to my wife and best friend Rachel. We have a two year old son named Lincoln who is the cutest kid on earth. I have been playing rock music since I was in junior high and playing Jesus music since high school. I became serious about music ministry my second year of college. I studied at Spring Arbor University earning my Bachelor of arts degree in Worship Arts Leadership. I received my first ministry opportunity in Cedar Springs Michigan and have now served at The Springs Church for seven years as the Worship Arts Pastor. It has been a great and amazing experience. Even though at times I feel undeserving or unqualified, God has been using me in this community in amazing ways and for the last few years serving the North Michigan Conference.

10 MISSION STATMENT TEENS Our Mission Statement The mission of the Manton Family Camp is to promote unity within the North Michigan Conference by providing opportunities for fellowship, spiritual renewal and growth, along with outreach to the hurting and the lost. The teens will meet each morning for an inspirational time of worship led by Spring Arbor University s Wellspring team. They will also be challenged by a practical lesson from God s Word, and enjoy many fun activities throughout the week to help them build friendships and grow in their faith. BIBLE SCHOOL Bible School at Family Camp 2014 Kevin and I (Shila) are so excited about this year s theme Bee Transformed Our lessons will be all about David and how God transformed him into becoming a man after God s own heart. We will spend a week doing crafts, singing songs and learning about bugs and how they are transformed too. We can t wait to see how God uses Bible School to help form and transform the lives of the children who come to Bible School during family camp at MCC! Kevin and Shila are members of The Springs Church in Cedar Springs, Michigan. This is their 8 th year of directing Bible School at family camp. Thursday, July 24, 2014 at 8:30 Wellspring Concert!!
