Proceeds from the Chamber s annual pie auction supports many of the community events facilitated by the Soldotna Chamber, as well as our local high school scholarship program. Thank you for your contribution and support this year! Soldotna Chamber Scholarships The Soldotna Chamber gives six scholarships each year with a total distribution of $16,000. Three to high school seniors, one to a current college student and two Vera Howarth scholarships. Your contributions tonight help us to continue to provide financial assistance to local youth seeking a higher education. Progress Days Held annually, the 4th weekend in July, this is the largest event of the year for our community! Includes a parade, family activities, dutch oven competition, eagle release, community picnic and now Sawfest! Peninsula Winter Games It s All About the Kids! Every January, for over 30 years, this event has drawn families from all over the Kenai Peninsula. It takes place at the Soldotna Sports Center with free games, food and entertainment for all! Lemonade Day The Soldotna Chamber organizes this nationwide event for our community. Youth learn to set goals, develop a business plan and learn to be future entrepreneurs!
