Offered a free newborn baby photoshoot today to a first time mother. Feeling like an anti-terrorist spreading messages of encouragement out there! Had lunch at a little family owned Thai restaurant. Tipped 50% of the bill. Just bought a homeless man a meal from McDonald's. Twelve Benedict Cumberbatch cupcakes delivered to staff and volunteers at Earl Mountbatten Hospice Smiled for the waitresses. :) There was a wedding and it was raining, so I stood and held my umbrella above the bagpipes player as he played. I gave away one of my subway tokens to a random stranger who was short of change in the subway station. Bought coffee for the person behind me. Saying "good job" to other swimmers after a race. :) Bought coffee and drinks on a very hot day for members of London Sherlock Society. Off to deliver muffins and local coffee shop gift card to well-deserving librarians! Helped an elderly man put the registration tabs on his license plates today at work :) Paid for another family's lunch as well. Ran 6.4 miles and said "good morning" to every person I passed! Have just taken on a free commission. Giving up my seat on the train for a guy so he can sit next to his girlfriend.
Gave the waitress at Golden Corral 5 and told her I was sorry it was all I had, but she needed to know she was great. Passed the bus stop and a woman didn't have enough for her child to get on. I gave them the money. Just offered a cool glass of lemonade to our postwoman on this incredibly hot day. She was delighted. Gathering some of my book friends here. Later I'll leave them around my city's park. I hope the people who will find them will enjoy them as much as I did! I helped an old couple carry their shopping home. They gave me a lovely cup of tea :) Helped a random woman find out bus schedule. You all inspired me with #batchofkindness tweets this morning. Saw a minivan with glowsticks hanging on rearview mirror. Got my pad to leave a note because those explode in Arizona heat and eat car interior like acid. Lady came out beforehand and was grateful. Donating a favourite book. Just some of the quotes I wrote up to celebrate #BatchOfKindness Congratulated 3 ready-to-pop pregnant women on my way home Paid for the US Army chaplain behind me in line at Yesterday I let a fellow applicant jump queue & do her interview before me because she was so nervous to get it over with Helped a fellow cyclist with a flat tire this morning. It felt wonderful.
Celebrating Benedict's birthday by doing a beach clean up! Spending my free afternoon at the local nursing home to help the staff & entertain the elderly. 35 degrees Celcius; couldn't have been a better day to volunteer at the local nursing home. Helping people fulfill their dream and become American citizens. Feel so privileged Held the bag of safety demos for the flight attendant on my flight and made her laugh by telling her "encore" afterwards. Spent 3 1/2 hours looking for a stranger's lost ring. Couldn't find it but it was worth a try. Today at market I purchased extra tokens & paid for various peoples purchases. Supporting local food & #batchofkindness all in one! I baked it, decorated it andddddd shared it with a bunch of strangers, just the way he wants it. There was a little girl at the pool I was working for and she didn't have shoes on. Her mom was at their car and the little girl couldn't walk anywhere because the ground hurt her feet and so she was waiting for her mom to come and grab her. So I went over and asked her if I could pick her up and carry her to her car because her mom was busy getting in the other kids in. So I carried her so her mom didn't have to. Bought coffee for state trooper (and biscuits for his canine partner) Just bought 2 cashier's at IKEA blueberry bomb slurpees because they re hot, hustling & SMILING!! Cookies to multiple floors of nurses at the rehab center. Overtipped my waiter at lunch Walking out of the shop with only one book. Oh & I randomly stuck #batchofkindness post it notes around the shop. It was hard giving up some of my loved books, but it was better sharing it to people who may find joy. My #batchofkindness today was helping a foreigner who was lost in my neighborhood.
Volunteered at a prison and face-painted for their inmate/family picnic. Lent an elderly lady my walking cane whilst I fixed the loose wheel on her walker. Paid for the stranger's order behind me at the drive thru. Going to hand these out as soon as I get over my huge fear of approaching strangers. Sent kind anonymous messages to strangers that seem to be having a bad day. Bought all 45 mail carriers in my neighborhood a cold drink to fight the blistering heat. Donated free massages to women who miscarried or who are pregnant and have experienced other loss Young couple that live next to us had their power turned off so we are allowing them to plug into our outlets outside til Monday. Grocery store turned out to be very productive for random acts of kindness. I've volunteered to be a marshal this week at my local Parkrun, so other people can enjoy the run! While on my short walk, I stopped at the store for some mushrooms. An elderly woman in front of me in the checkout line came 30 cents shy... so I spotted her the 30 cents. I'm going to free some books today in Barcelona. Today, I smiled at this lady & there's this cockle shell of warmth glowing inside me. I wished a lovely weekend to everybody I met today. They were happy to hear it! :) Donated money to a number of people in need. Long line for coffee. Computers down. Everyone antsy. Paid for guy behind me. Such a tiny thing but it made us all happy. Handed water to local homeless at the four corners of an intersection with giftcard to McDonalds. Complimented on some random person's shirt. Spreading my #batchofkindness by helping out my local theater give people a good movie experience! Spread a lot of anon love on tumblr because everyone deserves to be happy. Ayyyyyy chocolates for all! Helped a random stranger in the supermarket today. It didn't seem like much but he seemed really thankful. Delivered 100 large print never read or gently read books to senior facility.

Not a very brave and important #batchofkindness but this morning I gave away 2 tickets for a meet & greet with Bomer. The girl s face was priceless. Today in honor of Benedict Cumberbatch's birthday, I went around town and handed out envelopes with $10 in them. Went to the fish hatchery and my dad gave a little girl some of our trout food so she could feed them I'm an intern in pharmacy facility, & I provide drug information to patients without charge so they can save their money. I am a Massage Therapist/Body Worker, so I decided to volunteer at a local senior center and pass on a little healing and love to the people there.
