3 Downtown Map Description Northeast corner Roadway vehicles enter the map from the north, west, or east roads or from the south parking deck entrance/exit. Railway trains enter west or east on the map s center railway depending on the rail line s running direction. Pedestrians can enter the map via sidewalks adjacent to the roads or by back alleys in the southwest and southeast corners of the map. The north center of the map has a roadway with three handicap parking spots and sidewalks with trash bins. This north road ends with a stop line at the main road. The west to east main roadway has a railway in the middle of the road. This splits the road in half which could be two one way roads that run parallel to the train in one direction and the opposite way in the other direction. These roadways say No Stopping on the road. The sidewalks next to this roadway have No Begging written on them. The south center of the map has a parking deck entrance/exit. The left sidewalk has a trash bin. The south road ends with a stop line at the main road. Northwest corner The northwest corner of the map has a food court surrounding a subway entrance in the middle. The subway entrance has a terminal in front with displays that show subway arrival and departure times. There are two barricades in front of the subway entrance with subway stairs that lead underground. The food court is entered via two double doors in the southwest and southeast corners of the building. There are a total of ten tables and forty chairs; divided evenly with five tables and twenty chairs on the west and east sides of the food court (possibly divided into smoking and non-smoking sections depending on city laws). The cashier counter is in the northwest with a chair for the cashier next to the cash register. The cashier counter has a pizza box on top. There is a glass case with multiple levels filled with different pizzas next to the cashier counter. There are pizza ovens in the north center of the food court with a cola dispensary machine south of the ovens (and north of the subway entrance). The food court is used by people who want to grab a bite to eat or wait before their subway train arrives at the station. The northeast corner of the map has a movie theater. Displays on the street located in front of the two screens show movie start times at Screen 1 and Screen 2. There is a movie monster made into a statue in front of the movie theater entrance. Three sets of stairs with guide rails ascend to three entrance double doors. Once inside there are two concessionary desks with chairs for cashiers in the foyer. There are two ticket machines to the left and right of the concessionary desks. There are forty five seats in each auditorium that face south towards the screen and two auditoriums on the left and right side of the theater. Southwest corner There is a bowling alley in the southwest corner with a bank to the east. The bowling alley is entered from a double door in the north center wall. There are four vending machines on the upper level with guard rails to prevent falls to the lower floor. The vending machines dispense food, water, and shoes. A couple of steps descend to the bowling alley area. There are ten seats, four bowling ball return machines, and eight lanes. There is also a service walkway to the right that leads to the pinsetter machines in the back for repairs or a manual reset. The bank s main entrance to the lobby is a double door in the north center wall flanked by two X-ray machines. There is a filing cabinet in the northwest corner. South of the cabinet, there are two office desks with chairs for bank employees meeting with bank customers in a one-on-one or one-on-two fashion. South of the two desks, there is a soundproof private business room with glass walls with a door in the east wall. This room has an office desk and chair with a filing cabinet and two chairs for bank customers. There are two waiting lobby chairs and two ATMs in the northeast corner. South of the ATMs are three tellers in a teller room behind glass walls with palm print DNA scanners for identification of customers. The vault is in the southwest corner with four filing cabinets and a terminal that controls the vault on a time delay. The break room is in the southeast corner with a table and two chairs and a vending machine. The break room has an employee entrance in the back in the southeast corner. Employees come in through the back entrance and head north to the teller room, northwest to the lobby, or west to the vault. 3

4 Southeast corner There is a park in the southeast corner with an eatin diner to the west. A stairway flanked by stone benches ascends up to the park. At the top of the stairs is an archway where visitors enter the park. The park may have been created in the remains of an old castle or fort with crenellated walls that protect from falls and giving the park an archaic feeling. Several sets of stairs lead up to a gazebo with a sculpture in the center (this could also be a megaphone or speaker that plays soothing music suitable for relaxation). From the gazebo, descending stairs lead down to wooden benches to the west and east and an open area perfect for picnics to the south. The eat-in diner s main entrance is in the northwest corner with a side entrance in the middle of the east wall. There are three robo-cashiers to the south of the main entrance that take orders after having replaced humans long ago. There is a to-go window in the northwest corner for pick-up orders. There are ten seating booths with white tables and black/red couches in the east dining area. Each table has a small container for napkins and condiments on top. A couple of doors south of these couches lead to men s and women s bathrooms (off the map). The southwest corner of the diner is the kitchen. Along the west wall heading south there is a final preparatory counter, two strainers to dip French fries into grease, a sink, and a freezer in the southwest corner. There are two chef s tables in the center of the room. Along the east wall heading south there is a refrigerator, a counter, a microwave, an oven, a counter, a grill for cooking hamburgers with overhead vent, a counter and a sink in the southeast corner of the room.
