Consent given to the pruning of trees T2-T5, T20, T23, T25 and T27. The trees are overhanging the public highway and driveway to Staveley Town Hall. The pruning will remove large limbs and deadwood that could fall into the highway. Consent given to the felling of four trees which are suffering from bleeding canker with the loss of bark and leaf coverage. Consent give with the condition to replant with more suitable species. Consent refused to the felling of one Lime tree which is of a sound condition and adds to the amenity of the area. DATE OF DECISION

Trees have previously been felled adjacent to the tree. a reduction in height will alleviate concerns about any possible wind blow due to its sudden exposure to the natural elements /82A/ TPO West The felling of one Pine tree within G3 on the Order Map for Mr Wigfield at 174 Somersall Lane. The tree is allegedly in danger of falling onto the neighbouring property. Consent given to the felling of one Pine tree within G3. The trees require minor pruning works to clear pavement and highway and to clear buildings. 23 1007/85/TPO Hasland The pruning of various trees around a pond within a small woodland between Foxwood Close and Southfield Avenue reference W1 on the Order Map. Also the felling of one ash tree within W1 which is leaning towards the pond for Mr and Mrs Ervine of 8 Berwick Close, Walton. Consent given to the pruning of seven trees within a small woodland and around a pond in the wood. Consent also given to the felling of one Ash tree which is leaning over the pond with conditions to replant. The works will allow more light into the pond which has become neglected and create an environment which will be of benefit to wildlife

24 SECTION 2 NOTIFICATION OF INTENT TO AFFECT TREES IN A CONSERVATION AREA 31 st OCTOBER 2007 CONTENTS OF NOTICE 1007/CA1. The felling of 4 trees and the pruning of 2 Ash trees at The Rectory, Staveley. The trees are allegedly to close to the boundary wall and fence. The trees are in the Staveley Town Centre Conservation Area. SUMMARY OF CONSIDERATIONS TERMS OF DECISION DATE OF DECISION The trees are growing in the grounds of The Rectory at Staveley. The trees which are to be felled are young trees which are adjacent the boundary wall and fence and will inevitably cause damage in future years. The pruning is general maintenance and is good arboricultural practice. Agreement to felling and pruning to B
