2 sixth year, the ASEAN strand of the Asia Property Awards held at the esteemed Shangri-la Hotel Singapore honoured the top developers, architects and consultants in Singapore. The awards also served as the grand wrap-up to the Property Awards in South East Asia where the best industry achievers were paid tribute for their outstanding contribution to the real estate industry. Property market in Southeast Asia remains largely promising in the medium and long term Southeast Asia is a diverse region, which has seen tremendous change within the last 20 years, and is an emerging economic powerhouse in Asia Pacific, offering a range of investment opportunities and a promising environment for global businesses. The total population of the ASEAN nations is expected to grow by an average of 5.5 million each year, with at least 80 million people by the year 2030, together with a fast growing middle class especially in Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand and the Philippines. The region will also benefit from the ongoing and upcoming major infrastructure projects.

3 In his keynote speech during the Gala Dinner & Awards Ceremony, Mr KC Lee, Managing Director at Hansgrohe Singapore shared that the property market in Southeast Asia remained largely promising for the company in the medium and long term, despite a global backdrop of pressures against the economy and changing political landscapes. Emerging markets to drive property markets across Southeast Asia Mr Lee further highlighted that enabling factors such as increasing urbanisation, supported by a young, literate population of growing middle class, will continue to drive property markets across Southeast Asia. Vietnam, one of the fastest-growing economies globally, is undergoing strong developments in the property market, especially with a fast-growing middle class and the increased attraction of foreign investment. Indonesia expects a doubling of their middle-class population between the present and 2020, which presents great potential for the property market as both consumer and investor demand increase. Thailand continues to enjoy its stronghold as the top tourist destination in the world with over 32 million tourists expected this year. On top of a buoyant hospitality sector, Thailand is also experiencing an unprecedented level of demand in the luxury residential sector. Growing demand for design and quality The Hansgrohe Group, with its brands AXOR and hansgrohe, is witnessing a growing trend where savvy consumers are drawn to developments that emphasize aesthetically-pleasing designs and use of high quality material. Highest prestigious honours for top achievers in Singapore and Southeast Asia At the Gala Dinner & Awards Ceremony, Mr Francis Koh, Managing Director and Group CEO, Koh Brothers Group Limited, was honoured with the Real Estate Personality of the Year award for his achievements and exemplary leadership in the real estate industry. City Developments Limited (CDL) and its subsidiary Novel Developments were the biggest winners, having triumphed in nine categories, including the Best Luxury Condo Development for the Gramercy Park Condominium. The awardwinning project was touted for its touch of class with the distinction of luxury in a delightfully thoughtful manner through design and construct and for providing unexpected lawn space, and a layered positioning of

5 aspirational lifestyle amenities. Amongst the other awards that CDL and Novel Developments clinched were also the Best Hotel Interior Design and Best Hotel Development for the recently launched M Social Hotel, the coveted Best Developer Award and Special Recognition in Sustainable Development Award. For the Best Landscape Architectural Design (Southeast Asia), it was presented to Tanzanite International for The Hamptons Ho Tram, which had won multiple awards in the Vietnam Property Awards on 10 June At the Gala Dinner & Awards Ceremony, the Hansgrohe Group also presented to guests its latest innovative products from AXOR and hansgrohe. Guests were visibly pleased to view and experience the latest AXOR One, a minimalist masterpiece designed with renowned London designers Barber & Osgerby, the hansgrohe Talis Select basin mixers and hansgrohe ShowerSelect glass from the design leader in the bathroom fittings industry.
