Bulls (16) averaged 223.8p to 238.5p per kg for a pen of three 348kg Charolais s from West Quarter, Alyth and 1,020 gross for a 464kg Limousin from Glenlea, Lumphanan. Young and weaned calves (Two) sold to 500 gross. In the Ravenhill sponsored show and sale of store cattle judged by Mr David and Craig Buchan, Savoch, Longside. Overall Champion and winner of The Directors Perpetual Tray was a Limousin cross 530kg heifer from S Smith & R Stuart, 2 Bogie Street, Huntly which sold for 1,400 to the judge. Reserve Champion and the winner of The Generals Perpetual Tray was a 352kg Limousin cross steer from G & J Greenlaw, Balgairn, Ballater which realised 1,000 to the judge. The Boggartyhead Perpetual cup for the best heifer excluding other trophy winners went to a 400kg Limousin Cross from M Coutts, Denhead, Fetternear which realised 1,140 and J Ingram & Son, Boghead, Pitcaple. The Fingask Perpetual trophy for best animal consigned from the Islands was awarded to a 506kg Limousin steer from A & L Cromarty, Hools, St Margarets Hope which realised 1,240 and sold to W & J Cameron, Burnside of Edingight, Grange. "All classes were very easily cashed to a large ringside of buyers.
