Materials can be inspected on any working during office hours. 1. Available items and jobs can be inspected at Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited Office premise. 2. E.M.D. Rs. 1, (Rupees One thousand) only through DD in favour of Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited payable at Kolkata. 3. Tender Document can be collected from Liaison dept, Kolkata, RINL free of cost or can be downloaded form upto 27/12/2018, 1.00pm. 4. Submission of Tender : 27/12/2018 up to 3.00 P.M. at Liaison dept, Kolkata, RINL. 5. Opening of Tender : 27/12/2018 at 3.30 P.M. In case due to any reasons the office remains closed on the last day of Sale or submission of Tender Document, Tender will be received on the next working day with same timing. 6. RINL reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Tender without assigning any reason what-so-ever it may be. 7. The details are available at the Office Notice Board and website 8. Further, any corrigendum / addendum / errata etc. in respect of above Tender shall be made available in our official website No press publication shall be made in this regard. Sealed Tenders duly filled in and stamped with signature, addressed to In-charge Kolkata Liaison, Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited, 2 nd Floor, Kolkata , West Bengal and superscribed TENDER FOR DISMANTLING AND DISPOSAL OF OLD ITEMS OF KOLKATA GUEST HOUSE ON AS IS WHERE IS BASIS at Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited, 1 AJC Bose Road, 2 nd Floor, Kolkata shall be submitted so as to reach not later than 3.00 PM_ hrs on 27/12/2018. b. No tender will be received after 3.00 PM on 27/12/2018 under any circumstances whatsoever will not be entertained. c. Tenders will be opened after 3.30 PM hrs on 27/12/2018. d. Bidders are advised to visit the site during office hours (10:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m) to assess the quantity and condition of items before submitting their tenders with prior intimation to In- Charge (Liaison). Once tender is submitted it will be presumed that party has inspected the site for evaluation. e. The successful bidder has to make full payment of the bid amount in favor of Rashtriya Ispat Nigan Ltd., Kolkata within 3 (three) working days after issue of Work Order, failing which the offer will be cancelled and the EMD shall stand forfeited. The EMD of unsuccessful bidders shall be returned within one month after tender opening date without any interest upon submission of a request of refund. f. The successful bidder will be required to complete entire dismantling and disposal activity and lift all the items from the disposal site within 7 (seven) working days from the date of issue of Order. On failure to do so entire amount including EMD shall be forfeited and dispose the items to alternate bidder. g. Successful bidder, on their own cost, will be required to make their own arrangement of labour, transportation and other requirements for disposal of all the items and removal of debris. RINL/VSP has no role in arranging the same. h. No item once disposed to the successful bidder shall be taken back by this office on any condition whatsoever. Signature of the Tenderer Page : 2 /11

4 k. Bidders shall take care of the common entrance so that there will be no obstacle/hindrance for the movement of public during the day(s) of shifting of the materials l. Rates should be quoted both in figures and in words in columns specified. All erasures and alterations made while filling the tender must be attested by initials of the tenderer. Overwriting of figures is not permitted and failure to comply with either of these conditions will render the tender void at the RINL s option. No advice of any change in rate or conditions after the opening of the tender will be entertained. m. Each of the Tender documents should be signed by the person or persons submitting the tender in token of his/their having acquainted himself/themselves with the General Conditions of Contract as laid down. Any tender with any of the documents not so signed will be rejected. n. The tender submitted on behalf of a firm shall be signed by all the partners of the firm or by a partner/proprietor/director as the case may be, who has the necessary authority on behalf of the firm to enter into the proposed contract. Otherwise the tender may be rejected by the Company. o. Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited does not bind itself to accept the highest or any tender and reserves to itself the right to accept or reject any or all the tenders, either in whole or in part without assigning any reasons for doing so. p. The tenderer must obtain for himself on his own responsibility and at his own expense all the information which may be necessary for the purpose of making a tender and for entering into a contract and inspect the site of the work/goods, acquaint himself and adhere with all local conditions, laws etc., means of access of the work, nature of the work and all matters pertaining thereof. q. A schedule of quantities in respect of each item and Specifications is enclosed (LOT- A, B & C). Earnest Money deposit (EMD) for Rs. (Rupees only) by way of DD in favor of Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited payable at Kolkata to be enclosed with the offer. Bids not accompanying EMD as stated above are liable for rejection. Non-acceptance of our order/withdrawal of offers shall attract forfeiture of EMD. Tenderer must quote for all items and the successful bidder would take away all of them. r. Bidders must submit a copy of Address proof ( Voted ID/ Adhar card/ Driving License) and PAN along with the bid. s. The successful tenderer has to give his acceptance to the LOI within one week from the date of issue of LOI. t. The Company at its entire discretion may terminate the contract without any notice to the Tenderer in case there is any malafide intention noticed during the contract period. u. Tenderer will not entitled to claim any compensation of whatsoever nature if termination/cancellation is imposed by RINL for any reason. Signature of the Tenderer Page : 3 /11

Any damage caused to RINL/VSP s property or its contractor s personnel within RINL/VSP s premises by the Tenderer during the operation of the contrct will be to his account and are recoverable. w. In case of non-performance or part performance of the agency or any reasons there of, work or part work may have to be got done by other agency at risk and cost. In such case, the losses incurred by RINL/VSP have to the recovered from the agency or from the amount due to the agency in any other contract with RINL/VSP. x. All suits or proceedings relating to any dispute or any claim arising out of or in the course of performance of the contract will be filed only in the appropriate court at Visakhapatnam.
