1 JOSEPH JURRA TJAPALTJARRI Joseph Jurra Tjapaltjarri was born in the desert in Western Australia in approximately 1952, near where the community of Kiwirrkura now stands. He commenced painting for Papunya Tula Artists in In 1999 Joseph contributed to the Kintore men s painting as part of the Western Desert Dialysis Appeal.
