2 Introduction «Handiflight» was born in Gruyère (Switzerland) in It has since become the biggest fly-in of disabled pilots from all around the world : a unique opportunity to share experiences and enjoy flying in the beauty of the Swiss Alps ( After 10 years of solid success, Handiflight is reversing its normal procedures : the event will fly around the world and meet disabled aviators in their own skies, explore new horizons and look for new challenges.

3 Goals * Contribute to changing the perception of disability and fighting prejudices. * Dare your dreams, set new challenges, explore new ways, discover new horizons flying, once in a lifetime, in the most amazing and challenging areas on the planet. * Strengthen the global network of disabled aviators all around the world in collaboration with the FAI and local flying clubs.

6 Airplanes Ecolight CTLS These two light airplanes use up to 3 times less fuel than a "traditional" aircraft and produces up to 6 times less polluted emissions. They have already achieved in 2010 a round the world tour (

7 Airplanes Adaptation Hand controls will be fitted in these light sport aircraft to allow them to be flown without the use of legs. Auxiliary fuel tanks will also be fitted in the wings and in the cockpit for the longest legs.
