He has been with the AMG since 1996, first as an Asset Manager overseeing aircraft refurbishment and delivery activities, and from as Director of Sales for AMG s Asia Pacific region. Prior to his role in AMG, Ted had taken time off to complete his business degree at York University in Toronto after having spent 5 years in de Havilland s Production Flight Test hangar as Quality Assurance Supervisor and 5 years in the regional airline sector as Maintenance Manager. Ted lives in Toronto and is married to his wife Ann and has two young girls aged 8 and 10. Gurinder Dhillon, Managing Director, Aircraft Recovery International Gurinder Dhillon is Managing Director of Aircraft Recovery International (ARI), a specialist provider of aircraft recovery and repossessions services, that operates around the globe. He founded the company in 2010 as a strategic partnership with Ken Hill, North America s foremost expert in aircraft recovery, who has been established for 30 years in order to create

4 an international business able to offer cross-border services to law firms, banks and leasing companies. ARI is jointly located in London and Santa Barbara and provides a range of bespoke consultancy services that has led to the recovery of all types of aircraft and helicopter assets across a number of continents. Gurinder is a graduate of the UMIST School of Management and has enjoyed a highly successful career, predominantly within fleet management and logistics. He was recently profiled by the Financial Times as Europe s leading aircraft recovery specialist. Nick Godwin, Managing Director, Commsoft Nick Godwin graduated from Southampton University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. His career started in 1980 with British Aerospace, where he worked for 23 years. During these years, Nick was heavily involved in leading the worldwide marketing of BAE Systems Regional Aircraft products and services, including the Jetstream and ATP families of turboprop aircraft and the Avro RJ/BAe146 jet airliners. Nick was part of the team that helped create Aero International Regional (AI(R)), a Joint Venture with the Franco-Italian turboprop airliner manufacturer, ATR based in Toulouse. Nick also served for 9 years as an elected Board Member of the European Regions Airline Association. In 2004 Nick became Marketing Director at Civil Aviation for Data Systems and Solutions ( DS&S ), a subsidiary of Rolls Royce. Nick joined Commsoft as Business Development Director in May 2008 and was responsible for winning new customer business, growing the existing customer base and securing relationships. In November 2011, Nick was appointed Managing Director of Commsoft. Bart Mak, Mak Aircraft Engineering Services Bart started off as an aviation enthusiast building model airplanes as a boy and is fortunate enough to have been able to have made a career in aviation. Currently he is pursuing his Bachelor s degree in Airworthiness at Cranfield University on a part time basis. He started of with a Bachelor s degree in aeronautics during which he did his apprenticeship with Bristow Helicopters and KLM widebody maintenance as a mechanic on the shop floor. Subsequently a couple of positions were held over the years as planning engineer, structures engineer supporting KLM s 747 operation and heavy maintenance line and finally as a senior structures engineer. In the early nineties he moved to Martinair as a technical fleet manager. Initially managing the maintenance of the KLM Cityhopper fleet of 10 Fokker 50 s and 4 F-28 s in the beginning which later developed into 12 Fokker 50 s and 10 Fokker 70 s. Eventually he managed the sale and transfer of the F-28 s and the Fokker 50 s to a different MRO and took Martinair s B747 fleet and kept managing the Fokker 70 s. After a short period as managing Director of Qualitair Holland, he started his own aviation consultancy business in 2002 and has been involved with many aircraft transition projects over the years, supporting both the Aircraft Leasing Industry as well as the Airline Industry. Aircraft types have been diverse but mainly Boeing models 737, 757 and 767 and Airbus A320 series models but also Embraer ERJ-145 s, ATR s and A300 s. Bart was also involved with setting up an engine QEC strip and build shop and obtaining it s Part 145 approval with the OSAC.

5 Roland McKay, McKay Aviation Consulting Roland McKay graduated from the Commercial College and then went on to study at the Lufthansa Technical School and is since 1975 a licensed aircraft maintenance engineer. He worked in Airline Line and Base Maintenance. After his service in the Naval Aviation he studied Business Economics. Mr. McKay holds a valid EASA & FAA pilot license and is certified in diverse Aeronautical Technologies. He joined Airbus Industrie ensuring worldwide, on-time availability of Spare Parts and Ground Support Equipment (GSE). In 1985 Mr. McKay took the position of Finance Controller at Airbus supporting the fulfillment of Airbus spare part sales contracts in Africa, Middle East and the Far East. Leaving the aviation industry Mr. McKay took responsibility as a Managing Partner of a management consulting firm looking after the group s subsidiaries. Afterwards he returned to the Aviation field and was the Accountable Manager for a Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization, respectively is Managing Director of a Aviation Technical Consulting Services based in Switzerland. Furthermore is Mr. McKay a member of a German Airforce and the SwissAir Flying Club, the EBAA and an Aircraft Appraiser Association. Wes Parfitt, CEO, EnvelopeAPM Wes Parfitt, PMP is CEO and founder of EnvelopeAPM Inc. and Global Aviation Audits. He has over 10 years experience in aerospace project management, audits, MRO software implementation - Having inducted over 30 MRO M&E systems in 20+ countries in the past decade, as well as broad aviation software and technical records specialties. Based first in Australia, and now Canada, Wesley holds a (PMP) Project Management Professional credential from (PMI) - Project Management Institute who has worked with high-profile, fixed-wing and helicopter operators and MROs in North America, Europe, Southeast Asia and Australasia. This wide variety of experience, along with a dedication to close customer relationships, have seen his companies excel and grow. Marian Pistik, Vice President, Airline and Aviation Consulting, tasc aviation Marian Pistik is Vice President of Airline Strategy at tasc aviation Dubai, a wholly owned non-integrated Airbus subsidiary, a center of competence of aviation consultancy within EADS. In his 15 some years in aviation, Marian served in senior executive roles at several airlines in Europe and the Middle East, namely as CFO at SkyEurope from the start-up to its IPO in 2006; VP Finance at Israir during its switch from Boeing to Airbus and adoption of LCC model. He has served as Project Manager of Airline Launch at Wataniya Airways, Kuwait, as well as Acting CFO at RAK Airways, UAE. Prior to his tenure with airlines, Marian spent 5 years at AerCap, Amsterdam based leading aircraft lessor, where he developed its transaction pricing model and worked as VP Commercial. Godfrey Ryan, Director, Marketing and Sales, AerData Godfrey joined Waviatech of Crawley, UK (now AerData UK), in September Godfrey has over 15 years sales and marketing experience in multinational companies in Ireland, New Zealand and Germany. At AerData, Godfrey is responsible for group marketing as well as the sales ownership for STREAM, the technical records management solution for airlines, lessors and MROs. He graduated from University College Cork, Ireland in 1998 with a combined business and science degree and in 2007 was awarded a Diploma in Management (Aviation and Transport) from the Dublin Institute of Technology. Godfrey also holds a Private Pilot s License (Aeroplane).

6 Ingo Simon, CEO, SAVISCON Ingo Simon graduated from the military Helmut-Schmidt-University in Hamburg, Germany, with a degree in Electrical Engineering. After his first career as an officer in the German Navy he started his civilian professional life as a manager in Lufthansa Technik AG. There he was project manager for a number of aircraft related document management projects and also manager of IT-Infrastructure services. After several years Ingo changed to the consulting side and conducted projects with international airlines, MROs and lessors in his role as program manager and Director Aviation Consulting. He was also manager of the technical documentation department in Abu Dhabi Aircraft Technologies. When he returned to Germany in 2010 he decided to offer his wide knowledge of aviation maintenance and engineering processes combined with his IT and project management expertise to potential customers around the world and founded SAVISCON.COM. Jan Willem Storm van s Gravesande, Managing Partner, Aviation Independent Consulting Jan Willem Storm van s Gravesande in 2012 has 36 years experience in the airline industry. He studied Economics as well as Law at Groningen University and specialised in Air Law at Utrecht University in The Netherlands. After graduations he served as General Secretary to the Board and Supervisory Board of an international Helicopter and Fixed Wing Operator and acted as Legal Counsel of that company. Jan Willem joined KLM in 1981 and occupied a variety of functions in different KLM departments. His last assignment at KLM was General Legal Counsel at KLM Engineering & Maintenance, mainly specialising in contract negotiations with third party airlines, lessors and various other aircraft operators. Jan Willem lectured at numerous universities all over the world on different air law- and aviation related subjects. He has published some 75 articles in different magazines on the subject of air law. He is chief-editor of the Journaal Luchtrecht ( Journal of Air Law ). Peter White, Principal, Safety, Security and Regulatory Compliance, ICF SH&E Mr. White s broad and extensive experience in the air transportation industry enables him to specialize in operational safety, aircraft maintenance, ground operations and asset management for airlines, maintenance repair and overhaul companies, lessors and the finance community. His expertise includes safety oversight and external auditing, project management, strategic planning, technical operations, commercial negotiating, financial control, and international joint venture development. Mr. White is an experienced airline operations, maintenance organization and people manager who has well-developed motivating, communicating, multi-cultural team leading and union negotiating skills. He is also IATA Operational Safety Audit Program Manager for ICF SH&E.
