Subs will be available for donation beginning at 11:30 AM. Non-A&P pilots are permitted to perform a surprising number of maintenance tasks. At this seminar, you can learn more about how, within the bounds of the regulations, pilots can make their aircraft better and safer through preventative maintenance. PLEASE REMEMBER: - Register through the FAA Website for the Owner/Operator Maintenance Seminar. Registration for seminars on the FAA Website become available 2 to 3 weeks prior to a seminar. There may be times when we advertise a seminar, so you can save the date. The first 6 pilots who respond will have the opportunity to experience the Barany Chair. Observers can also benefit from this experience. If you do not get the opportunity to experience the chair this time, you will be placed on a future standy list. Summary: In a research program, the University of Illinois found that 100% of pilots who had no instrument training lost control of the aircraft after entering simulated IMC in an average of 178 seconds. In this seminar we will discuss the causes of Spatial Disorientation, and each participant will have an opportunity for a session the Barany Chair, a device for simulating disorientation (safely, on the ground! ******************************************************************************************** CFII, Phil Polstra is offering a free Private Pilot Ground School again. It is a 6 week course which prepares you to take the written ground school test.
