General 1.1 Except as approved in specific writing by the Director General of General Administration of Civil Aviation of DPR Korea, all fees prescribed below shall be paid by the commander of the aircraft or responsible agent to the appropriate section of GACA before the aircraft departure from the aerodrome. 1.2 For the purpose of enforcing payments of fees, GACA may refuse to permit an aircraft to take off until all fees have been paid. l.3 No abatement of any fees shall be allowed in the event of any aerodrome service, assistance or other facility being not available. 2. Landing charges 2.1 UrJess specifically exempted, a landing charge shall be paid in respect of all foreign aircraft landing at aerodromes in DPR Korea. 2.2 For the purpose of calculation of fees, the maximum take-off weight of the aircraft shall be the maximum take-off weight of the aircraft as contained in the aircraft technical document or the manufacturer's approved flight manual. 2.3 The commander of the aircraft is required to submit as a proof of the maximum take-off weight the original or certified true copy of technical document or the manufacturer's approved flight manual. 2 AIP D.P.R OF KOREA GEN FEB In the event that the documentary proof is not made available, the computation of charges would be based on the maximum take-off weight of that aircraft model/series provided by GACA. 2.5 Landing charges are as follows. Up to , , , , Over 301 2, plus 5.00 per every additional 1 tonne Note: In the calculation of landing charges, the part less than 1 tonne will be assessed as 1 tonne. 2.6 Surcharges 25 percent in addition to the landing charges in 2.5 above will be assessed for an aircraft landing between 2200 and 0600 LT (1300 and 2100 UTC) in summer and between 2100 and 0700 LT (1200 and 2200 :UTC) in winter. Security Charges 4.1 Passenger and baggage security check charges EUR 2 for every departing passenger. 4.2 Cargo and mail security check charges EUR 0.09 per kg. 4.3 Airport security charges -Over 60 tonnes: EUR 1.5 per tonne per day Note: Part of one hour should be accounted as one day. - Up to 60 tonnes: EUR 90 per day 4.4 Fuel security charges EUR 0.03 shall be payable per kg. Note: Security charges shall be payable by air carrier. 5. Air port quarantine Charges EUR shall be payable per flight 6. Parking Charges Basis: Maximum take-off weight specified in aircraft technical manual. GACA AIP AMDT 1111

4 AlP DPRKOREA GEN JUN 2009 No parking fee shall be payable for the parking of an aircraft for the first 2 hours, thereafter the parking charge will be; Up to 50 tonne: EUR for every 24 hours or part thereof. Over 51 tonne : EUR 1.82 per tonne per 24 hours or part thereof. Parking fee accounting method: EUR 1.82 per toil..!le per 24 hours or part thereof. Part of 1 tonne will also be accounted as 1 tonne. Part of 24 hours will also be accounted as 24 hours. 7. Aeronautical meteorological service Charges EUR shall be payable per flight. 8. Air Navigation Facility and Service Charge 8.1 Terminal Air Navigation Facility and Service Charge The charge is calculated in accordance with the table below and plyable for taking off and landing separately. For all flights over flying the Pyongyang FIR, their en-route charges shall be paid to lata E & F agency on behalf of GACA which invoices and collects the charges on a monthly basis unless otherwise agreed. The diplomats, transit passengers within 24 hours at the airport and children under 12 years shall be exempted from the passenger charge.
