2 VIP Notice - Orlando, FL (3/20) Notice Number: NOTC5236 Attention: Expected VIP movement on March 20, 2014 in the vicinity of Orlando, FL will require airspace restrictions that may adversely impact flight operations. The FAA recommends that all aircraft operators check NOTAMs OFTEN as the airspace is under close scrutiny and violators will face possible intercept as well as other legal ramifications. { Specific instructions and restrictions are available at once the NOTAM has been issued. *Depicted TFR data may not be a complete listing. Pilots should not use the information on this website for flight planning purposes. For the latest information, call your local Flight Service Station at WX-BRIEF.
3 Temporary Flight Restrictions What is a TFR? Temporary Flight Restrictions are notices which restrict flight activity due to activity on the surface or in the air. TFRs can be issued at any time. Protect persons and property in the air or on the surface. Provide a safe environment for the operation of disaster relief aircraft Prevent unsafe congestion of sightseeing aircraft above an incident or event. Protect declared national disasters for humanitarian reasons in the State of Hawaii Protect the President, Vice President or other public figures (aka "Presidential TFR") Provide a safe environment for space agency operations

7 WHAT IF?..you are intercepted by a U.S. Military or law enforcement aircraft, immediately:
8 without delay: 1.Adhere to instructions relayed through the use of visual devices, visual signals, and radio communications from the intercepting aircraft. 2. Attempt to establish radio communications with the intercepting aircraft or with the appropriate air traffic control facility by making a general call on guard frequencies (121.5) giving the identity, position, and nature of the flight. 3. If transponder equipped, select Mode 3/A Code 7700 unless otherwise instructed by air traffic control. NOTE- If instruction received from any agency conflicts with that given by the intercepting aircraft through visual or radio communications, the intercepted aircraft must seek immediate clarification. 4. The crew of the intercepted aircraft must continue to comply with interceptor aircraft signals and instructions until positively released.

10 After you land, continue to follow instructions. However, most times you will be instructed to call a phone number given to you by ATC.
11 ATC will inform you that you have violated a TFR, Take your information, and tell you that someone from the Flight Standards District Office (FSDO) will be contacting you. An FAA Inspector will invite you to his/her office, or request a statement with a reason you were in the TFR (usually the response is I didn t know. ) The Inspector will write a report of his investigation and send it to FAA Legal. Expect that you Certificate will be suspended Usually 30 days (1st time violation) "NASA Form" Aviation Safety Reporting System (ASRS) won t help. There may be further action ie criminal, depending on law enforcement
