2 Trip Overview Headquartered in beautiful Lake Tahoe, California (elevation 6,225 ft.), the Rubicon Trail Jeep Jamboree takes you on a journey through some of the most challenging off-road terrain in the world. Leading your group will be an elite, hand-selected Trail Guide team. The group will be guaranteed plenty of personal attention, and given expert driving instruction and guidance along the way. Upon arrival into the San Francisco International Airport, members of your group will be met by a Jeep Jamboree representative outside the customs and immigrations hall, and transferred to your hotel in the heart of San Francisco. Located only a few blocks from Union Square, your group will have the afternoon at leisure to enjoy shopping, sightseeing and many of the culinary experiences San Francisco is renowned for. A group dinner within walking distance of the hotel for your groups comfort and convenience. The next morning your group will transfer (via VIP vans) to one of Lake Tahoe s premiere fullservice resorts, the Resort at Squaw Creek. The Resort at Squaw Creek boasts a championship 18-hole golf course, tennis courts, heated outdoor pool, horseback riding and spa. These amenities allow guests to bask in true mountain luxury and comfort. Lake Tahoe is one of the world s premier vacation destinations and is home to the largest alpine lake in North America. Over the next two days your group will tackle the trail by which all others are measured - the mighty Rubicon Trail. On a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being the most challenging) the Rubicon Trail is rated a true 10. After a scenic drive around Lake Tahoe, you ll put your Jeep 4X4 into 4LO and drive a grueling 12-miles to Rubicon Springs Base Camp.

Lunch will be provided at Observation Point along the trail. Once participants arrive into Rubicon Springs Base Camp they will be met by Jeep Jamboree staff with a hot dinner and bonfire to share some of their stories from the days adventure. After a hearty breakfast the following morning your group will complete the reminder of the Rubicon Trail and will return to The Resort at Squaw Creek in time for a late lunch. Upon completion of your adventurous two days on the Rubicon Trail, your group will depart The Resort at Squaw Creek for Napa Valley, CA. Napa and Sonoma Valley are internationally renowned to have some of the best wines in the world and are a wine enthusiasts dream. Guests will have a private tour, lunch and wine tasting at Inglenook Vineyards. After lunch your group will depart Napa for the charming town of Sausalito, with breathtaking views of the San Francisco skyline. Nothing can prepare your group for the sheer thrill of the Rubicon Trail experience. 5 June 14 Golden Gate / Lake Tahoe After a leisurely breakfast at the hotel your group will depart San Francisco (via VIP van) for Lake Tahoe. Estimated drive time 4-5 hours. As your group departs San Francisco they ll make a quick stop at the iconic Golden Gate Bridge for photos and bridge history provided by one of the GGB engineers. Upon arrival at The Resort at Squaw Creek your group will be checked in to pre-registered rooms. Group dinner will be hosted on-site at the resort. A trail briefing on the Rubicon Trail will also be provided.
