RIVER ACTIVITIES Refresh yourself in the river or slide down the waterfall. The river is just 2 steps away from the campus, literally, (only at Tirthan). RAPPELLING Experience the thrill of coming down a steep rock face. OR SIMPLY DO NOTHING Enjoy the view & the peace surrounding you because you never know what you may find when you are doing nothing!

7 camp sitlakhet Camp Sitlakhet is a hill top campsite at a height of 7000 ft and offers a commanding view of the Nanda Devi among other Himalayan peaks. The unique location allows for exciting trekking trails, rock faces and mountain biking tracks. It often acquires a dreamy floating in the clouds view. 30 km ahead of Ranikhet, it reveals itself as a jewel nestled amongst the emerald Kumaon Himalayan peaks, completely untouched by commercial activity. The camp is located approximately 375 km from Delhi and is close to better-known destinations like Ranikhet, Almora and Nainital. HOW TO GET THERE (From Delhi) Morning Shatabdi till Kathgodam and there on a 3 hours drive to the Campus Approx 9 hours drive from Delhi. Overnight Volvo Bus till Kathgodam and there on 3 hours drive to the Campus

9 camp tirthan Camp Tirthan is a riverside camp located in the Tirthan Valley at Sai Ropa. The pristine waters of the Tirthan River and the surrounding gentle slopes give it a character of a picture perfect campsite. In addition to allowing for all hill adventure activities it also provides proximity to over 400 species of flora and fauna in the neighbouring Great Himalayan National Park. It is located approximately 520 km from Delhi and is close to Manali, Kasol, Jalori Pass and Manikaran some of the known popular hill destinations species of flora & fauna HOW TO GET THERE (From Delhi) Overnight travel by volvo bus to Aut and an hour from there on to the campus in MUVs. Overnight train till Kiratpur and a 6 hours drive to the campus. Fly to Bhunter (Kullu) and there on a 90 minutes drive to the campus 13 hours drive from Delhi for the adventurous ones!

11 camp dharamshala Camp Dharamshala is located in the upper reaches of Kangra Valley at an altitude of 5000ft. Situated against a dramatic backdrop of the Dhauladhar range it offers a panoramic view which may include Dharamshala on a clear day. In addition to providing intriguing trek trails and mountain activities it also allows proximity to the famous temple of Indru Nag and the monasteries of McleodGanj. It is approximately 570km from Delhi and is in close proximity to many excellent tourist destinations such as Kangar and McleodGanj. HOW TO GET THERE (From Delhi) Overnight travel by volvo bus to Dharamshala and a 30 minutes drive to the campus in MUVs. Overnight train till Una and there on a 4 hours drive to the campus Overnight train till Pathankot and there on a 3 hours drive to the campus

13 camp yercaud Camp Yercaud is nestled in the Orchardale Estate at a height of 5100ft. It has the unique distinction of being the highest permanent nature camp in South India. It is nestled within the picturesque and uninterrupted coffee plantations and orchards of orange trees. The campsite allows for exciting adventure activities amongst tranquility and boundless energy of nature. The camp is located about 1.5 hours from Salem town in the Yercaud hills, in Tamil Nadu, about 250/355 km from Bangalore/ Chennai HOW TO GET THERE (From Bangalore/ Chennai) Moring train to Salem (ex Bangalore/Chennai) and there on a 2 hours drive to the Campus. A 6 hours drive to the Campus from Bangalore.

15 camp kambre Camp Kambre is located in the village of Kambre, off the Mumbai-Pune highway and offers a unique wilderness experience within reach for both the metropolises. The campus is situated on the banks of Andhra Lake and offers an expansive view of the lake and waterfalls from the rocky ridge. The backdrop of dense forest offers it an additional element of intrigue. The camp is close to Lonavala, Pune & Mumbai. HOW TO GET THERE (From Mumbai/ Pune) From Mumbai hours drive on the old Mumbai-Pune highway (135 km). From Pune hours drive on the old Pune- Mumbai highway (75 km). 5 acres of beautiful terrain for camping

17 camp junga Located at an altitude of 5100 ft, the Camp Junga is nestled in the dense pine forests revealing itself only to the fortunate few! The wondrous proximity to nature ensures memories that will refresh for a lifetime. The Ashwini river and multiple waterfalls around the camp add to the experience. Junga is located approximately 370 kms from Delhi and is in close proximity to excellent tourist destinations such as Shimla, Chail, Kufri, Kasoli and Narkanda. HOW TO GET THERE (From Delhi) Shatabdi train to Kalka and 2.5 hours from there on to the Campus in MUVs. Overnight bus drive to the Campus. 8 hours drive from Delhi for the adventurous ones! We source from the best outdoor equipment makers in the world like Petzel, Beal, and Cassin etc. outdoor instructors Outdoor instructors conducting the outdoor activities are from Nehru Institute of Mountaineering / Himalayan Mountaineering Institute/ NOLS India assuring top class training and safety standards. fire Camp area has a sufficient buffer zone clear of Pine trees which acts as a natural barrier during forest fires. Staff is also trained to counter any such occurrences. We have installed fire extinguishers at the three key areas of Kitchen, Dining and Conference area. For tents we have the sand and water safety buckets installed. first aid Campus stocks first aid medicines and also has a full size foldable stretcher, Nebulizer and a BP machine. We stock first aid medicine at camp and while on activity carry first aid bags. Most of the instructors are trained in First Aid and if required medical assistance is available at a hospital in the nearest town. standby vehicle We can arrange for a standby vehicle at camp to cover any emergency (at extra cost).
