Adventure Activities inculcate courage, patience, determination, leadership, confidence, team spirit and cultivate a love for the environment and respect for nature. Hampta Pass Trek is one of the most delightful treks in the Manali to leh region, located in Himachal. It's an excellent option for the trekkers who are reasonably fit. This trek proceeds through forests of walnut, oak and the occasional alder which keep you spellbound with their sheer grandeur and spectacular beauty. This short trek begins from the lush green valley of Kullu-Manali and ends in the barren landscape of Chandra valley in Lahual. This is a moderate trek with a scope for varying the duration to suit ones time The trail goes right up to the base of the high mountains of Deo Tibba, Indrasan and their Glaciers. The initial trek follows the river valley leading to the Hampta pass. Deo Tibba is popular among climbers who have good mountaineering knowledge. 2 Package includes:- Transportation: Delhi to Manali and back in Volvo coach (A.C). & From Manali to Solang Nalla and back in local bus / Jeep. Accommodation: Hotel Iceland, at Solang Nalla sharing basis (3 person in double bed room) will be provided during the trek. Couples may take separate room on extra payment. Accomodation while on trek shall be in tents with separate arrangements for boys and girls. Food: Delicious and nutritious Veg / Non Veg food will be served during the trek once you reach Base camp Hotel Iceland Solag. However Food during bus travel from Delhi to Solang and back to Delhi will not be included. Equipment: Equipment required for Climbing / trekking in Snow will be provided, participants are to bring their warm clothing. Instructors: The trekking team will be accompanied by qualified guides/instructors Back Pack carrying: Participants are expected to carry their own personal belongings. Common Equipment and sleeping Bags etc will be carried by porters Certificate: Participants will be awarded with a certificate on successfully completing the trek. Lose Tough light weight Full-Sleeve Shirts / Dry fit (Cotton preferred) (2 Nos.) Personal Undergarments (2/3 sets minimum); light weight towel (Pancha) One Full Sleeve Sweater & a wind cheater Warm body fit leggings & tops. Balaclava or woollen cap. Vaseline, cold cream, Sun screen etc. Simple Plastic Water Bottle of Min. 1 lit capacity preferably with Shoulder Strap Torch with a spare set of batteries. Tooth Brush, Tooth Paste, Soap, small quantity talcum powder, 4 Band-Aid Strips, 2-3 Plastic bags. Good Quality Sun Glasses (with UV protection) Additional Information: Attending the Participant s Meeting is a MUST. Cancellation : Since all the necessary arrangements like purchase of food, transport, equipments etc., are made well in advance, cancellations, if any must be communicated immediately & at least 15 days before commencement date of the trek in writing at the above address. Trek in-charge will take final decision about the refund amount after the trek. The base camp will be at Hotel Iceland, a luxurious Hotel in Solang (check out ). There is a complete First-Aid Kit available at the campsite. Still it is advisable to carry a few Band-Aid strips. Please inform the trek-in-charge about any long term medical treatment the participant is undergoing for any illness. They should also inform about hypersensitivity (to antibiotics, sulpha drugs etc.) / allergies if any. The instructors are fully trained and have wide experience in all the activities they will carry out. We have always followed the precautions of safety. The participant s safety at any point is the first priority. Keeping this in mind, the instructors may not allow some members to participate in some of the activities. The Trek-in-charge s decision in any matter related to this Trek is final.

3 Day wise Program: Hampta Pass Chandratal Trek Day 1: 24 May - Reach Delhi and take evening Bus to Manali Day 2: 25 May - Arrive in Solang, Check in Hotel Iceland Acclimatization day Day 3: 26 May - Pick up from Manali after lunch and drive to Jobra. Trek from Jobra to Cheeka. Camp at Cheeka. 2 hours easy ascent 9800 ft to 10,400 ft Day 4: 27 May - Trek from Cheeka to Balu Ka Gera (12,500 ft). 4 hours easy ascent Day 5: 28 May - Trek from Balu Ka Gera to Hampta Pass (14,100 ft) and crossing over to Shea Goru 8-9 hours moderately steep ascents followed by a sharp descent to Shea Goru (12,850 ft) In case of bad weather / very heavy snow the team may have to return to Jobra instead of crossing the pass Day 6: 29 May - Trek from Shea Goru to Chatru (11,000 ft). 4-4½ hours of downhill trek. Easy with some tricky sections. Pick up at Chatru's road head and drive to Chandratal and back to Chatru or Batal Day 7: 30 May - Drive from Chatru/Batal to Solang. Arrival at Solang Day 8: 31 May - Check out Manali Sight seeing Rafting(Optional Activity) and then proceed to Delhi by Bus Day 9 : 1 June - Reach Delhi and proceed to Mumbai Additional Attraction (Paid activities) These activities are optional and will depend on availability and weather conditions. Participants will pay for them at subsidized rates at the venue. Approx Charges for all paid activities as below will be Rs 2000/- to 2500/- Paragliding : One experiences ethereal serenity while sailing in air above the ground. The bird s eye view of the beautiful scenery below gives the gilder an exhilarating feeling. ATV : Ride an All terrain Vehicle on the slopes in Solang Zorbing : Zorbing is the sport of rolling downhill inside an orb, generally made of transparent plastic. Zip Line : Zip from the top to the bottom of the inclined cable by holding on the freely moving pulley. Rafting : White water rafting in the chilling Beas River.
