We ll be available to answer any questions you might have about the courses and activities that are scheduled during the week. Tuesday June 26, 2018 Whitewater Raft and Picnic Lunch 2:00 p.m. 8:00 p.m. $89.00 Adults, $48.00 Children 6-12 You'll have a blast on this three-hour white-water raft trip on the Middle Fork of the Flathead River on the southwestern boundary of Glacier National Park. We will begin our afternoon with a picnic lunch before setting out on the river. This lively and splashy adventure takes you through John Stevens Canyon where the rapids are rated Class II and III. By following your river guide's simple instructions, you'll become part of the crew that maneuvers the boat downstream. Be sure to wear clothes that can get wet. After your rafting adventure, you'll have time to change into dry clothes and look at photographs taken of you coming down the river. Price includes raft trip, wetsuit, Picnic lunch, transportation, 7% river-use fee, and gratuity. Wednesday June 27, 2018 Red Jammer Bus Tour of Glacier National Park 1:45 p.m. 8:00 p.m. $ You ll journey back in time as you take in the wonders of Glacier National Park in style on this Red Jammer Bus Tour. These vintage motor coaches have canvas convertible tops that roll back, revealing gorgeous mountain views in all directions. The tour includes the famous Goingto-the-Sun Road, the Garden Wall, Logan Pass, and St. Mary Valley. The return ride crosses the Crown of the Continent, where you ll see slopes carpeted with wildflowers and cascading waterfalls. Box lunches will be distributed at the hotel prior to departure. Box Lunch Options (vegetarian and gluten-free options available on request) Middle Fork: Ham and cheese or turkey sandwich, fresh fruit, granola bar, chips, and fruit juice. Thursday June 28, 2018 Dinner at Ciao Mambo 6:00 p.m. 8:00 p.m. Pay restaurant directly We hope you ll join us for dinner at Ciao Mambo, a lively ristorante and favorite spot for locals and visitors alike. The bright color scheme and the music are boisterous, but they complement the rich Italian fare, adding an interesting ambiance. You can even watch while food is prepared in the restaurant s central open kitchen. For an appetizer, you can t miss with the Italian Tootsie Rolls sumptuous egg wrappers stuffed with ricotta, mozzarella, and pesto. Main course options range from crackly crust pizza to Pollo Con Formaggio, a breaded chicken cutlet dripping with four cheeses. Participants will pay the restaurant directly. Release must be signed by each participating adult. It being my intention to participate in the optional activities offered while attending the Western CPE conference, and it being known and understood by me that said participation in these optional activities shall necessarily involve exposure to risks to my person and my property, I do hereby assume the full responsibility for any such risks and do hereby waive any right to any claim against Western CPE or any of its employees or agents for any injury, loss, damage, accident, delay, or expense resulting from any acts or omission of any carrier, government, private legal entity, or third person. I also assume sole responsibility for and agree to indemnify Western CPE against any loss due to any financial obligations or liabilities that I may personally incur, or any damages or injury to persons or property that I may cause during the time of my participation.
