Professional alpinists, guides and rescue teams from the valley of Chamonix were involved in development and testing. 6 KEY TECHNOLOGIES The basics of Salomon footwear SALOMON PATENT PENDING EDGING CHASSIS Because of the striped pattern construction, the Edging Chassis allows a natural, flexible transition from heel to toe when you walk, but still provides the necessary lateral rigidity for edging on steep terrain, and support for climbing.
