1 UIW Writing and Technology Camp Camp Behavior, Polices, and Rules Summer 2015
2 Welcome to the UIW Writing and Technology Camp. Directed by faculty members in the Dreeben School of Education, this camp provides hands-on experiences in writing and the use of technology for students in grades 2-6. For the summer of 2015, campers will travel to the San Antonio Humane Society (see page 2 for dates) and will use this experience to complete a series of writing projects. This booklet is a guide for all parents who have enrolled their child(ren) in our program. Inside you will find exactly what to expect this summer as well as contact information, policies, and general rules. If you have any questions regarding our program, please feel free to contact me. We look forward to meeting you and your child(ren) and to having an exciting summer. Sincerely, Dr. Stephanie Grote-Garcia UIW Writing and Technology Camp Director The camp will meet June 15 th -26 th Monday-Friday 8:00am-Noon - 1 -

Only those adults designated on the registration form will be allowed to pick up campers. A picture ID will be required in order to confirm authorization. We will not release a child until an authorized person comes into the building and signs the child out.
