1 Freedom of Information Request Reference No: I note you seek access to the following information: Is it possible to get a breakdown of the total number of police officers per borough with one measurement for each year from ? - I see this data is definitely available for 2011 as it appears on p81of the Police and Crime Plan ( If it is available, the figures for the 'City of London' would also be useful. I do however understand that this is policed by a separate institution. On 14/10/2015, you clarified your request as follows: By one measurement per year I mean the number of policemen employed in each borough per year as visible in the following link for This data could then be used to say in borough xyz in year abc there were??? policeman employed. I understand that the number of policemen employed in a borough in a year changes over time and thus any comparable measure such as the 'the number employed in December' or the mean employed throughout the year would be perfect. However the statistic in the link above is calculated would be perfect. You were advised that the MPS does not collate data regarding City of London Police. You have been provided with a link to their Freedom of Information Act Department. DECISION I have today decided to disclose the located information to you in full. Please find attached below information pursuant to your request above. Information Rights Unit
