FC350F 25 8th July 1965 Sir Winston Churchill, London EC FDI on a plain cover. This had been postmarked first (and upside down) on 24th January on the day he passed away, with the stamps stuck into a V shape. FC4294ME 30 18th October 2005 Trafalgar Miniature Sheet, Nelson Treharris CDS postmark. FC4038N 35 13th October 1982 Cars, Large Hella cover cancelled with Ford Chippenham CDS plus their own Frama cancel along the top. FC405B 50 1st September 1965 Joseph Lister, House of Lords CDS on plain typed House of Lords envelope (the Crest is on the back flap). He was made a Lord in FC453A 30 8th October 1965 Post Office Tower, pair of single stamps produced by George King, London EC FDI (3d single stamp) and London WC FDI (1/3 single stamp, GPO cover). As always he must have had a reason for doing this. FC091E 75 11th June 1946 Victory in Europe, Don t Waste Bread slogan Southampton slogan postmark on Sanders of Southampton illustrated cover. FC per month over 3 months 19th September 1966 British Technology, Macclesfield CDS postmark on Stuart cover with cachet address for the Nuffield Radio Astronomy Laboratories plus University of Manchester posted at Jodrell Bank cachet. This was a tabloid newspaper of the time and we assume the cover was produced as part of a promotion. FC649D 25 19th September 1967 Discovery, Oxford FDI postmark on typed Wessex cover. Early Penicillin experiments were carried out in Oxford, but there may be other connections. Flexi-pay available on all items! FC669F 35 29th April 1968 British Bridges, Bridge special postmark on blocks of four stamps on a set of four Wessex covers. Small label addresses. FC750A 25 1st July 1969 Investiture, Liskeard Cornwall CDS on unaddressed Connoisseur cover. The Prince of Wales is also Duke of Cornwall. FC752A 25 13th August 1969 Gandhi, National Postal Museum London Chief special slogan. We would not normally feature a handwritten cover, but this is an unusual slogan. FC1031C 10 24th April 1974 Fire Service, Philatelic Bureau postmark on a special edition of the normal Post Office cover with Merryweather overprinted along the top. FC925F 60 20th November 1972 Silver Wedding of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Royal Lancers Official cover. It is believed that only 200 of these full set covers were produced at the time. 3

4 FC th July 1974 Great Britons, Windsor FDI postmark on Stuart First Day Cover. We have this FDI postmark available in both small and large size. FC th April 1976 Social Reformers, Norwich FDI postmark on unaddressed Philart cover. She was born in the city in FC4000B 25 25th January 1978 Energy, Nuclear Electricity Dungeness special postmark on Official carried Romney Hythe and Dymchurch Railway cover. Also has a 10p Railway Letter stamp and carried cachet on the reverse. FC4004X 15 5th July 1978 Horses, 700th Anniversary of the Cinque Ports, Romney Hythe and Dymchurch Railway Official carried cover with a Hythe special postmark, plus 15p Railway Letter Stamp postmarked in New Romney. FC1282A 20 2nd June 1976 American Bicentenary, American Museum Claverton Manor Official cover, Bath special postmark. When issued these cost just 50p each. FC Silver Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II doubled postmarked Mercury cover, Windsor special FDI postmark on both the set of four (11th May) and 9p (15th June). FC4002G 75 1st March 1978 Historic Buildings Miniature Sheet, Stampex Silver Jubilee National Philatelic Society Official cover with the printing in blue. Also available with the printing in red. FC4002H 75 FC4010T 50 6th June 1979 Horse Racing, Folkestone FDI on Benham BOCS cover. This is a very unusual postmark on this Benham cover but also very connected as at this point Folkestone had a racecourse. FC4144F 25 1st March 1994 Investiture of the Prince of Wales, full set on a 1969 single stamp 21st Birthday cover. FC4142C 25 18th January 1994 Age of Steam, North Yorkshire Moors Railway Official cover, York special postmark plus 25p Railway Letter Stamp. FC4169H 35 3rd September 1996 Children s Television, Bagpuss Mail on Sunday Official Benham cover, London special postmark. FC4186G 15 23rd April 1998 Heroes of Comedy, Mail on Sunday Benham Tommy Cooper Official cover, London special postmark.
