Medical Volunteers Wanted! Camp Daisy is looking for registered nurses and/or licensed physicians that are willing to volunteer for a week of camp and get a free (5-night, 6-day) session for their camper. More information can be found on page 24. New For 2012! Girl-Led Activity If you think programs look slightly different at Camp Daisy this summer, you are right! We are designing our summer to be girl-driven. This means that girls work in partnership with their counselors to build their own program at camp by choosing two activity tracks to participate in during their session. The counselors will provide the necessary structure, but the girls can choose what activities they participate in and what they want to learn about! This gives our campers the opportunity to design their own camp session while still having the core camp experience that is associated with Camp Daisy like horseback riding, games, canoeing, singing, hiking, and so much more! Camp Daisy Bus On Monday through Thursday, morning sessions will be set up in tracks that match girls interests. Girls will work with their counselors to select one interest track for Monday and Tuesday and another track for Wednesday and Thursday. **Tracks may vary from session to session and more tracks may be added throughout the summer.** 17

Weather permitting, campers will have the opportunity to ride a horse and canoe at least one time. Parents: By end of the week, campers will be able to recognize how situations, attitudes, and the behaviors of others affect who they are. Parents: At the end of the week, your daughter will have learned how to be a role model for younger girls by making healthy and appropriate decisions.
