Notices submitted will be charged at R1000 per full page, pro-rated based on above categories. 9 STAATSKOERANT, 12 JANUARIE 2018 No GOVERNMENT PRINTING WORKS - BUSINESS RULES The Government Printing Works (GPW) has established rules for submitting notices in line with its electronic notice processing system, which requires use of electronic Adobe Forms. Please ensure that you adhere to se guidelines when completing and submitting your notice submission. Closing Times for ACCepTAnCe of notices 1. The Government Gazette and Government Tender Bulletin are weekly publications that are published on Fridays and closing time for acceptance of notices is strictly applied according to scheduled time for each gazette. 2. Please refer to Submission Notice Deadline schedule in table below. This schedule is also published online on Government Printing works website All re-submissions will be subject to standard cut-off times. All notices received after closing time will be rejected. If multiple publications of an Extraordinary Gazette are required, a separate Z95/Z95Prov Adobe Forms for each publication date must be submitted. notice submission process 4. Download latest Adobe form, for relevant notice to be placed, from Government Printing Works website 5. The Adobe form needs to be completed electronically using Adobe Acrobat / Acrobat Reader. Only electronically completed Adobe forms will be accepted. No printed, handwritten and/or scanned Adobe forms will be accepted. 6. The completed electronic Adobe form has to be submitted via to submit.egazette@gpw.gov.za. The form needs to be submitted in its original electronic Adobe format to enable system to extract completed information from form for placement in publication. 7. Every notice submitted must be accompanied by an official GPW quotation. This must be obtained from egazette Contact Centre. 8. Each notice submission should be sent as a single . The must contain all documentation relating to a particular notice submission Each of following documents must be attached to as a separate attachment: An electronically completed Adobe form, specific to type of notice that is to be placed For National Government Gazette or Provincial Gazette notices, notices must be accompanied by an electronic Z95 or Z95Prov Adobe form The notice content (body copy) MUST be a separate attachment A copy of official Government Printing Works quotation you received for your notice. (Please see Quotation section below for furr details) A valid and legible Proof of Payment / Purchase Order: Government Printing Works account customer must include a copy of ir Purchase Order. Non-Government Printing Works account customer needs to submit proof of payment for notice Where separate notice content is applicable (Z95, Z95 Prov and TForm, it should also be attached as a separate attachment. (Please see Copy Section below, for specifications) Any additional notice information if applicable. 9. The electronic Adobe form will be taken as primary source for notice information to be published. Instructions that are on body or covering letter that contradicts notice form content will not be considered. The information submitted on electronic Adobe form will be published as-is. 10. To avoid duplicated publication of same notice and double billing, Please submit your notice ONLY ONCE. 11. Notices brought to GPW by walk-in customers on electronic media can only be submitted in Adobe electronic form format. All walk-in customers with notices that are not on electronic Adobe forms will be routed to Contact Centre where y will be assisted to complete forms in required format. 12. Should a customer submit a bulk submission of hard copy notices delivered by a messenger on behalf of any organisation e.g. newspaper publisher, messenger will be referred back to sender as submission does not adhere to submission rules.

Quotations are valid until next tariff change Take note: GPW s annual tariff increase takes place on 1 April refore any quotations issued, accepted and submitted for publication up to 1 March will keep old tariff. For notices to be published from 1 April, a quotation must be obtained from GPW with new tariffs. Where a tariff increase is implemented during year, GPW endeavours to provide customers with 0 days notice of such changes. 14. Each quotation has a unique number. 15. Form Content notices must be ed to egazette Contact Centre for a quotation The Adobe form supplied is uploaded by Contact Centre Agent and system automatically calculates cost of your notice based on layout/format of content supplied It is critical that se Adobe Forms are completed correctly and adhere to guidelines as stipulated by GPW. 16. Remote meter -setting mail may only be posted at designated offices. Mail paid for by all or payment methods may be posted at any post office /mail centre. Letters must be faced and tied in bundles when handed in over counter. Presorted bulk mail The service is suitable for businesses that post large numbers of domestic letters. The minimum volume is and more presorted articles per consignment. The items must meet relevant criteria as described in National Bulk Mail Service Guide. All articles in a consignment must - - originate from same sender, - be identical in shape, size and mass; and - have same contents. The articles must contain return addresses. 2

The client has option of insuring ordinary parcel at a rate of three per cent of declared value up to a maximum of R5 000 with a minimum rate of R 4.20 per parcel. 1.4 International mail International letter and parcel services are available worldwide, eir by airmail or surface mail. These services may be accessed by posting eir at post offices or by posting in street posting boxes. The available range of services includes: Product Description Aerogrammes Special prepaid air -mail letters consisting of one lightweight folded sheet of paper that can be sealed. No enclosures are permitted Postcards Convenient conveyance of unenclosed messages and greetings Small letters Consists of private and business letters up to 50 g and no bigger than 120 x 25 x 5 mm Medium letters Consists of private and business letters up to 250 g and no bigger than 250 x 176 x 10 mm Large letters Consists of private and business letters up to 00 g and no bigger than 5 x 250 x 0 mm Small parcels For small quantities of low -mass goods under 2 kg at a lower rate and with simpler customs declarations than for large parcels Large parcels For conveyance of goods and material up to 0 kg. The maximum mass differs from country to country. Registered mail Direct publishers bags (M Bags) A separately streamed service with added security for letter post items The economical conveyance by air mail or surface mail of printed matter to same addressee at same address. A minimum rate for 5 kg applies to each bag. The mass of each item in bag must not be more than 2 kg. Special value -added services Value can be added to basic international mail services by buying additional value -added services. These include express delivery, registered, insured and advice -of- delivery (AR) options. As se add -on services are not available to some countries or for some categories of mail, enquiries should be made at post offices to find out if y are available for your purposes. Insured and registered items must be posted at post office counters and not in street post- boxes. International reply coupons The international reply coupon service enables customers to repay postage on a reply from a correspondent abroad. Coupons sent abroad may be exchanged for one or more postage stamps representing minimum postage pre -payable on an air -mail letter. The coupons cost R.05 and are available at post offices. 8

Generally, items of a value of more than R1 000 require specific export documents to be completed. Details are available at post offices. Customs declarations The type and extent of customs declarations are regulated by statutes of Universal Postal Union and requirements of destination countries. The following basic requirements are stipulated for various mail categories.
