3 Middlesbrough Council Car Parking Charges (Page last updated: 23 November 2016: View a map of the car parks in Middlesbrough town centre. 2 hour parking - please note that motorists parking free for 2 hours are still required to display a pay and display ticket. The ticket machine will issue a free ticket which will show the time of arrival and departure. Only one free ticket per vehicle per day is permitted. Season tickets - season tickets are available for council-run long stay car parks. Overnight parking - Motorists may leave their vehicles overnight in any of the surface car parks or on street parking areas at their own risk. Vehicles must either be moved before the charging times start the following day or the appropriate fee must be paid at the machine or via RingGo if the vehicle is being left during chargeable hours. The multi storey car parks - Captain Cook Square and Zetland - are closed overnight, please refer to the table below for daily opening/closing times.
