Kingswells Circular A gentle meander round local paths in the Kingswells and Bucksburn Valley area visiting several of the local consumption dykes. tart/finish NJ Inverbervie to t Cyrus (or reverse) Leaving cars at both ends gives us the option for a linear walk along the coast between Inverbervie and t Cyrus passing through the old fishing villages of Gourdon and Johnshaven. tart/finish NO or NO Peter Hill From Finzean awmill the path climbs to the top of Peter hill (a Graham top) then over Baudnacauner Hill and following the course of Glaspits Burn back to the start. tart/finish NJ even Bridges of Ballater Due to the damage caused by torm Frank there will be considerably fewer bridges. We will have the whole hostel to ourselves so have 28 beds available. Return to the car park via Hill of Badymicks and Clachnaben. B) Clachnaben Initially following the same route as the A walkers as far as the Charr Bothy though at a more leisurely pace. From Linn of Dee the route ascends Beinn Bhreac before continuing north to Beinn a Chaorainn then descending by Glen Derry. tart/finish NO Car park Linn of Dee B) Clais Fhearnaig circuit From the Linn of Quoich up the glen then through the Clais Fhearnaig pass to descend into Glen Lui. tart/finish NO Linn of Quoich Glen Tanar Our second visit to Glen Tanar this year but heading west this time past Clachan Yell, Black Craig and Red Craig before returning following the course of the Water of Tanar. tart/finish NO Braeloine Car Park A) Carn an t-agairt or Crossing Invercauld Bridge the path leads through Ballochbuie Forest and follows the Feindallacher Burn to ascend this munro. B) TBA tart/finish NO Keiloch A) Carn or This circular route from trathdon follows tracks and paths over Duffdefiance, Dun uir and Carn or (the highest of the Ladder Hills) returning by Glen Nochty. B) Glen Nochty/Green Hill Circular treams, woods, hill and heather and panoramic views. tart/finish NJ Layby near Torrancroy Ben Tirran An ascent of the Corbett Ben Tirran with views to the spectacular corries containing Lochs Wharral and Brandy. tart/finish NO Glen Clova A) Dubh Loch and Broad Cairn A challenging walk for those wanting a bit of a scramble from Dubh Loch to Broad Cairn and a descent to Loch uick. This may be altered on the day to exclude the scramble and ascend via Creag an Dubh Loch instead. Ben Rinnes An ascent of Ben Rinnes from the distillery with the option of returning to the start or by the slightly shorter route to the car park at the foot of Round Hill. tart/finish NJ Distillery Alternative Finish NJ Annual General eeting Venue: Bowling Green Pavilion, Denman Park, Westhill. Come along, have your say and elect a new committee. Free Wine and Cheese Party afterwards.
