This intimate and stylish hotel ensures that guests feel part of their local Mediterranean surroundings, yet enjoy the world class service and traditional hospitality that Jumeirah is renowned for. This stunning resort offers 120 spacious rooms and suites, all with large terraces and balconies from which to enjoy the breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea, the picturesque Port de Sóller and the UNESCO Heritage Tramuntana mountain range. This cliffside resort is surrounded by traditional pine forests on one side, and the Mediterranean on the other. With a total area of almost 18,000 sqm, the resort comprises of eleven buildings, each with a maximum height of three storeys that follow the gradient of the mountain, thereby creating harmony with the landscape. The building has been designed with special care to ensure the hotel s architecture integrates into the surrounding natural area of beauty. The Moorish influence can still be felt in the local architecture, language and gastronomy of Mallorca. Sóller is home to several attractions such as the Ca n Prunera Museum of modern art which features some of Miró s works, the Sóller Botanical Garden, and many examples of modernist architecture from some of Gaudi s contemporaries. Nature has left its mark on the island, endowing it with an extraordinary beauty. The Lighthouse Suite: Split on two levels, with undisturbed views over the Port de Sóller bay and directly in front of the Cap Gros Lighthouse. Es Fanals Restaurant: A bright casual restaurant serving lunch and dinner, weather permitting.

The restaurant is named after the delicious local fish known for its bright red colour and intense flavour. The restaurant serves fresh fish and the best local produce Mediterranean-style, in addition to serving breakfast daily. The glassenclosed wine cellar offers a variety of national and international wines, with a main focus on local Mallorcan and Spanish wineries. Es Fanals Restaurant: A bright casual restaurant serving lunch and dinner, weather permitting. The restaurant features an open kitchen and is decorated in a truly Mallorcan style, with its wooden ceiling and mosaic floors. Located on the highest point of the resort, it enjoys stunning views of the sea. It is named after a work of art that graces the restaurant, a piece made with Mallorcan fanals glass lanterns used by local fishermen. The menu includes typical Spanish and Mallorcan dishes with a twist, all-time favourites as well as a fun menu for the kids.

Spain Telf: jumeirah.com/mallorca Located on the picturesque and unspoilt Northwest coast of Mallorca, in the Tramuntana mountain range also known as the Orange Valley for its extense citric and olive orchards, Port de Sóller is the sea side fishermen s village belonging to the town of Sóller. This natural port combines fishing and sailing boats, small cafes, local fish restaurants, and the beach of Es Repic. Port de Sóller is easily connected to Sóller by road but can also be accessed by the 100 year old wooden tram, a must-do excursion that takes the visitor through orange groves, farms and narrow cobbled streets ending at Sóller s main square with its impressive 12th century church and modernist buildings. Sóller is a market town offering visitors a wide variety of artisan shops, bars and restaurants; its Saturday market is very popular with visitors from around the island for its fresh produce, art and Mallorcan crafts. The train ride between Sóller and the island s capital of Palma is considered one of the most beautiful train trips in Spain as it travels through the mountain range and offers unique opportunities for keen photographers for its many vantage points throughout the journey. This lesser known Northwest coast of the island is very different from other areas of Mallorca, as it retains the authenticity, traditions and the unspoilt nature that makes this the most visited island of Spain.
