A PEACEFUL HAVEN IN THE HEART OF A BUSTLING CITY

WELCOME Nestled within four acres of mature award-winning gardens and spacious terraces, The Bath Priory sets itself apart as a peaceful haven in a bustling city. The Georgian house of honey-coloured Bath stone enjoys a tranquil location just a short walk through Royal Victoria Park to Bath s city centre.

THE GARDEN Hidden away, yet so close to the city centre, over four acres of gardens wrap themselves around the hotel including a working kitchen garden, meadows and lawns with plenty of private nooks for relaxing. Lovingly tended by Jane Moore, a Chelsea Flower Show Silver Medalist, every season is a celebration of colour.

INTERIOR The walls of the Library and Drawing Room are adorned with the Brownsword family s collection of 20th century art which welcomes guests into their home from home, inviting them to relax and unwind and embrace a more leisurely pace of life.

GUESTROOMS The majority of the 27 luxurious guestrooms have views over the award-winning gardens and are appropriately named after flowers. Each is unique in character and distinction, offering a warm, calm sanctuary in which to escape, relax and unwind. In addition the six suites are named after the distinctive architectural crescents found in this World Heritage city, the suites feature handcrafted wood panelling, bespoke furniture, Nespresso coffee machines, heritage colour schemes and sumptuous fabrics.

AFTERNOON TEA Be it enjoying the summer sunshine on the terrace or in front of a roaring log fire in the Drawing Room, afternoon tea is a great British tradition in which to indulge year round at The Bath Priory. Delicate finger sandwiches are accompanied by homemade cakes and scones served with clotted cream and local preserves alongside an extensive selection of teas and coffee.

Spilling out onto the terrace in warmer months, The Pantry has become an intimate retreat fusing comfort with sophistication. Nothing more than a fresh cup of coffee and newspaper is required; although the menu does include tempting classics such as seared rare-breed steak with triple cooked chips and sticky toffee pudding.

THE RESTAURANT At the heart of the hotel is the celebrated three AA Rosette restaurant, with magnificent views across the hotel s beautiful gardens. Executive Chef, Michael Nizzero, offers a memorable culinary experience with a focus on fresh local produce, flavour and balance to create exciting, modern French dishes
