2 Patagonia... just saying the word sounds exciting, conjuring up ideas of a far flung place of mystery and romance, luring you to new lands and new experiences that you haven t yet imagined. WELCOME TO PATAGONIA...too big for just one country Well that is how it was for us, and now that we know it well, we want to share it with you. Patagonia is too big, and bold to be held back by a political border, so instead it straddles the Southern Andes of Chile and Argentina. It s a land of perfect volcanoes, serene lakes, glorious glaciers and breathtaking fjords. It really is jaw droppingly good! The north is home to forests, lakes and volcanoes, and the south gives you rugged wilderness including Torres del Paine, perhaps South America s greatest National Park, and the breathtaking performance that is Perito Moreno glacier. The corridor linking north and south is the Carretera Austral, the legendary road acting as the spine of Patagonia. For travellers with a passion for exploring this is for you; no tourists, no crowds, no bitumen and no postcards. A place to simply be. Be surrounded by beauty, by places without names and, be ready to create memories you can t photograph. If you like the outdoors, picturesque villages, and inspirational landscapes then you need to put Patagonia on your menu. With our passion, experience and meticulous planning, we are committed to creating your pefect journey that will give you memories to cherish forever. This brochure is simply a short menu of the travel banquet that is Patagonia. There s plenty more to add and we ll tell you about them when we chat. We hope you enjoy the read and look Forward to talking to you soon. Rose and David, Forward Travel Directors The famous towers of Torres del Paine lure people from around the world to gaze upon them. Most people are very happy to gaze up from below, but the fit and inclined will spend many hours climbing to their base for a closer look. Patagonia is a very generous destination, with delightful riches that are shared between the active and the not so active traveller FORWARDTRAVEL.COM.AU 3

The rules for your airfares will be advised at time of booking. CHANGES BY US: Amendments and Cancellations: We plan everything to run smoothly but sometimes changes have to be made, and sometimes they have to be made quickly, perhaps without notice. Forward Travel cannot accept liability for loss of enjoyment, distress, disappointment or delays or any costs you may incur as a result of such changes. On rare occasions, where a component of your booking is subject to a minimum number of passengers, and that number is not reached, or for other reasons, our operators may decide to cancel a tour or service that you have booked. We will always endeavour to provide alternative arrangements for you which may affect your final tour price. If we cannot book a suitable alternative for you we will refund you any payments you have paid for the component. In the event of such a situation you will not be entitled to make any further claim for compensation or damages for any loss, consequential damage, expenses, and loss of time, distress, disappointment or inconvenience which may result from such cancellation. The policy needs to include cover for emergency evacuation and repatriation and you must carry a copy of your insurance with you when you travel. We strongly suggest you take out the policy when you pay your deposit. Your deposit is non-refundable so you should really have cover in place when you pay it. We recommend you visit your doctor and dentist when you book and you must disclose any pre-existing medical condition. If you fail your medical, a full refund of the deposit paid will be given providing you send us a medical certificate within two weeks of the date of your booking. We guarantee any travel insurance policy purchased through Forward Travel for travel booked through Forward Travel will have appropriate cover.
