We are part of a rich world but of uneven distribution, there is a huge difference between those who have a lot and those who have almost nothing. Under these circumstances the environment is also affected. You can be part of the change working in two different areas: Social and Community or Nature projects. 20 VOLUNTEER PROGRAM Volunteer in Southern Right Whale Observatory in Puerto Madryn, Patagonia The observatory is located 21 meters above sea level and surrounded by Las canteras and el Doradillo beaches. This group organices daily maintenance activities for the preservation of the environment and conservation of the species. You will contribute to their conservation. As well, you will be constantly with tourists and visitors who are eager for you help and guidance in this beutiful encounter with the Southern Right Whales and their calve. Volunteer in Marino Ballena National Park in Costa Rica This national park named after the Humpback whales that migrate here each year needs to be protected from natural and anthropogenic threats that hassle the area. It is a unique space on earth in which flora and fauna species are in danger of extinction. You can do a lot to prevent this. Local staff and other international volunteers will welcome you to lend a hand for this national park s sake.
